kfancii mentioned in that thread that she belongs to a forum for her specific make and model of motorcycle.

I, too, belong to a couple of Kawasaki forums, as well as DOZENS of sportbike/riding forums (I belong to dozens, I post on like 3 ), a couple of women-specific riding forums, and then a couple other wedding-related forums (I only post on one other one, really). And I DID register at a scrap-booking forum, as I was working on a specific project, and needed some guidance, but I haven't gone back there really (I didn't really "fit in," I'm not die hard enough I guess, when it comes to scrapbooking :grinhappy:).

I'm also on a couple of car/street racing forums, mainly because of FH's former involvement in cars/racing, but also cus some of them are just a TRAINWRECK -- you have to watch, it's just a blast (but I don't think I've even logged into those in like a year).

So what other kinds of discussion boards/forums do you belong to?

I'm pretty much only on here! I was on a vegan forum for a bit, but it just didn't feel like home. After being on here I don't know where else I'll feel so comfortable! :grinhappy: I'd like to find a good vegan/cooking/nutrition forum to talk about my obsessions though. I was thinking about starting a foodie blog, but I don't think I'm entertaining enough for that! LOL :cloppy:

Yep! I'm on the IntruderAlert forum for Suzuki Intruder/Boulevard owners and have even organized a couple of biker rallies for the folks there!

I'm also on the RV.net forum and hang out in the RV Pet Stop area or the Camp Cooks and Connosiuers boards. I started out in the ToyHauler forum when we were looking to buy the ToyHauler or "Santa's Sleigh" as it was named by one of my Welsh Motorcycle pals from IA.

The only other forum I frequent as often as OW is the sighthound (dog) forum I run on my own site.

There are a couple of other doggie ones I check out every now and then.

Aaahhh! Before joining OW and planning my wedding, I was on many forums. I'm a member of probably 30 forums, but I usually (when I'm not wedding planning) up to date on about 6 of them.

Most of them being 4x4 related (about 15ish), I'm on a few motorcycle forums, lots of fishing forums (probably 12ish), and of course there's OW

Besides this forum, I am mostly on car forums like G35driver.com and bimmerforums.com because I use to have a bimmer and some of those guys I still keep in touch with and say hi to every once in a while.

I was on a local bike forum that my husband introduced me to but doesnt seem like I have much in common with those people since I dont have a bike. But I met some of the guys he rides with and stuff.

I been on some photography forums and dog forums. Mostly when I have a question about something could be from something as simple as a cell phone to my car I look for forums with ideas and other people with similar problems.

This is my only wedding forum, but I also belong to numerous baby name forums, and an aquarium forum that I rarely ever check.

I visit the Nine Days forum, but that has slowed way down in the past couple of years. There's still a few new posts every day. Other than that, I don't really go to any. Sometimes I'll check out other wedding ones out of curiosity, but I haven't found any that are as good as these.

I am on 2 other forums. One is health related and the other is an offshoot of girls who got tired of the downward fall of the aforementioned health forum. I was a mod on both, but now only on the second (Quit since the changes were horrible)

Cool Beans. What's the band called? I've seen several from around the world at a Convention held in the UK. If i've not seen them, i bet i've heard of them :D

Sorry to hijack the thread for a bit. But it's getting rare to find other fans. They tend to go into the woodwork when there's no album out.

We are both moderators on a 4x4 board (www.marlincrawler.com (http://www.marlincrawler.com)), and we have our own forum that we are both admins on, not big enough to have more than 3 mods though, so we have one friend helping us on there (www.greasemonkey4x4.forumotion.com (http://www.greasemonkey4x4.forumotion.com)), I'm admin on 2 of our work forums. You've so got it right though. I can usually guess which forum he's on - or just go to the forum and see "who's online". It's almost too easy LOL.

Hahaha, I was just going to ask her if she knew my cousins who do a lot of 4x4 stuff in the Sacramento area...I already PMed her though.

Do you guys ride dirt bikes? I have a Yamaha TTR-225 that I do some trail riding with (not so much lately with all of the wedding stuff, but usually I ride a few times a month). Good stuff.

We don't ride dirt - YET. We wanna add a couple to the stable, as there's a few good MX parks here. I've been once, and got BEAT UP, but had a blast.

We've had my friend's son's TTR90 in our garage for a couple weeks though, cus FH was working on it for them. It's got an upgraded suspension and stuff on it, so "big" people (i.e. not kids) can still ride it, so we've been tearing around the neighborhood on that. She said once her son outgrows it, we can have it (at which point we'll REALLY upgrade the suspension, the handlebars, etc....). There's one park downstate where the biggest you can ride is a 110cc, so it'll be a blast for that. :grinhappy:

Yeah, we're lucky in that we have TONS of mountain trails within an hour of us, so we have some really amazing riding up here. You can ride up into the mountains and not see another rider the entire day. We even live right next to the forest, so we could technically ride from our house down into the woods, but the authorities keep a pretty close eye on the woods near our house, and we've gotten tickets before for riding on private property. OOPS!

I know whatcha mean; I've been jonesin for over two months now. My bike's been torn down having some major (just maintenance) work done to it, but since it's an older bike, parts mostly come from Japan which just takes WEEKS... we're picking it up either tonight or tomorrow night.... YAY!

I love hanging out here even if I'm through getting married. 2 vette forums but one not so much because they are all mean little boys that don't like girls knowing more than they do.
I just discovered a cricut forum. I was a member and didn't even know it. When I registered my machine they automatically signed me up.
I used to visit stuff on my cat and stuff on my dog but they are kinda silly. Love looking at the pictures.

The only other forum I visit anymore is a rabbit breeding/hobby forum. I used to breed/show rabbits, had to sell them all when I moved to town, but I made some good friends on there and plan to get back into it one day, so I still hang around. :)

I'm not big on forums - I read a Las Vegas forum every day, but I rarely post there anymore because the people are so mean to one another! It's like they get on there and pick on people for sport! So I only post rarely but read daily. It's a great resource, if you look past the b*****ness of the banter.

This is the only forum I actively participate in and enjoy. :)
