Music Selection Help

Hi,
We need to come up with song selections for the following:
Entrance- during the reception they will be doing a "grande entrance" for the bridal party. They want a seperate song to play when each of the following enters: (These songs should be fun and upbeat)
Parents (both FH and mine)- one song is good for both sets
Bridesmaids/Groomsmen
Maid of Honor/Best Man
Me and my honey

We also need a song for:
FH/MIL dance

Any suggestions?

I would call my dj and see what his suggestions are. Music can be either very personal to some people or nothing at all to others. If you really don't care, just leave it up to him. No one is really going to notice what songs are being played. So it can be one less thing for you to worry about.

I don't know alot about what songs would be good for that. But i think having clips of a bunch of different songs would be weird. Maybe it's just cause i can't really imagine it right now.
Anyways.... the one funky upbeat song thats coming to mind right now is Dare by Gorillaz. The music it's is kinda neat. I can't think of how the lyrics go though. Scroll through iTunes and see what songs you can see that you like. If that fails definatly ask the DJ what they have used in the past and what suggestions they have for you.

Wow! That's a lot of music to have to come up with. Jason and I are going to use "Forbidden Songs on Forbidden Pipes" from the Braveheart soundtrack (actually, it's from "More from Braveheart" but you get the jist). I wanted bagpipes somewhere in my wedding (sorry Lacey). I know you don't have much time, but I looked into the instrumental stuff on the soundtracks of movies I liked and that's where we got most of our music from. Maybe that helps!

As far as the MIL/FH song, I googled it real quickly and found this site that has a formidable list...hope that helps!
