So, ladies... Guess what. :D
It's time to think about PERFUME!! :bbeek:
I'm trying to get some Sheer Veil by Vera Wang. It smells so pretty!! I guess it's the only way I'll be wearing a veil, too. ;) It's just $85 a bottle. But you can get a smaller ammount on eBay for a lot less. I hope I can get my hands on some!!
What kind of perfume are you going to wear? :bbmrgreen:

I wear the Body Shop's Vanilla perfume. I love it!
I have a hard time with scents. Alot of them can trigger migrains for me. Or cause me to have a small sneezing fit. I have to completely avoid the cosmetic department at department stores. Thankfully the Clinique booth is on the outskirts of it!

I'm a lot like Jen with my migraines. Smells can trigger them. Plus if I have one a migraine and get a good whiff of something I can't stand to smell it ever again. I have thrown away more expensive bottles of perfume over that. I just don't wear it at all. I jus tuse a little bit of scented body wash and on very rare occasions scented lotion but those are few and far between.

I just use a body spray or scented lotion on special occasions. Not sure what I'll wear for the wedding.

I'm with you on that! I get migranes from purfume. I also have some vanilla from the Body Shop. I do better with natural sents.

I read somewhere about wearing a different perfume to your usual one because then whenever you smell it you will be reminded of your special day which i thought was a nice idea! I dont wear any very often tho so dont know what new one i will buy xxx

My FH is allergic too. He seems to be ok with lotions and such though, so that's good.

I usually spritz on some "Warm Vanilla Sugar" from Bath and Body Works, but awhile back I got a free sample of Tommy Bahama and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! When I went to get the stardust lotion for my wedding, they had Tommy Bahama in the oil at the shop I went too! So that's what I picked (after I consulted with my mother to make sure it wasn't too heavy so I wasn't killing guests...she gave it a thumbs up).

I normally wear Tommy Girl, but I like the idea of wearing something different so that whenever I smell it, I will remember that day!

Ladies, just remember to give any new perfumes a trial run beofre the big day. Perfumes change with each person's body chemistry. So what you smell in the bottle might not be what you get on you.

I normal wear White Diamonds. I too like the idea of wearing something different on my wedding day. I have others that I have used and smell nice on me but I always wear this one. I will find something nice.

I can go spritz when I come into the mall, and if it's still nice a couple hours later, I pick it up before I go! ;)

I hear that Lacey! My sister loved plumeria and bought me a huge bottle of it...I put it on and it smelled AWFUL! Hit a fragrance counter and get a free sample, that way you can test before the big day without buying! I also read somewhere try not to wear something to heavy so that you're not killing your guests when they walk over to tell you congratulations. That's why I tested the scent on my mother first. :)

I wore Clinique Happy for our wedding! Since the weather sucked and we couldn't be outside like we wanted, i decided to bring the beautiful smell of a flowery garden to me! Of course I didn't over do it, my Granny is also allergic and goes into coughing fits if perfumes are too strong! I have about five different scents that I alternate...but my favorite has to be Gap's Heaven!! And i also like to wear vanilla body mist as well! I could list all the perfumes I wear but we could be here a while! lol

I don't wear perfume much, I usually wear some sort of body spritz. I like sweet/floral scents ... Plumeria, Freesia, Sweet Pea, etc ... there is one I got at Target I just love called Sangria Splash. When I do wear perfume I like Tommy Girl ... I have had the same bottle for at least a year though ;)
I like the idea of wearing something new and special on the big day but I agree with Lacey in that you should try it out on you before you commit to it for the wedding ... you might also want to make sure FH likes it too ;)

Hi Carrie Ive bought vera wang sheer veil too and Leighton has got the male version. They bot just smell perfect. Its said that the perfume you wear when you get married should remind you of your wedding day whenever you smell it in the future
