I know my FI will not think of getting his groomsmen gifts at all.
I am just going to go out and get the gifts, and then ask him what he got for them. Then suprise him with what they'll actually be getting versus NOTHING. He probably doesn't even know you have to get them a gift. That's my bet.
If you are married, what gifts did you get for the groomsmen. If you are engaged, any plans?!?!
Help me help my fiance. Haha.

We've got a deal girl!
That actually sounds like a good idea, the shot glasses though.
One GM is 17 though, and one is 30.
It makes it even harder!!

fh looked at those too but once you buy five of them for 30 or 15 bucks ti gets expensive and our budget is pretty limited.

why not get them different things? guys arent as picky about " his is better than mine!" like girls are so i dont think they would mind...?
We got our guys personalized zippos. None of them are smokers, but it's fire and well, guys like fire. :snide: LOL.
We got them from here - http://www.executivegiftshoppe.com/zippo-lighters.html. There are a variety of prices. The ones we got were around $17 each. We matched each guys personality with the one that we got them - hunter, Harley Davidson, gambler, Elvis, etc. We also got their names engraved on them. They really appreciated the time and thought that we put into each of their individual lighters. :grinhappy:

I think he wants to give them personalized flasks.
I saw that on Oriental Trading. Girls and Guys flasks. I was thinking to myself "Why would someone want a flask..." Haha. I suppose it would be a good groomsmen gift though. Is it just for alcohol? They fill it and keep it at home, or what?
Matt didn't have the $$ to fork over for his GM gifts, so I bought them but he helped pick them out - sorta LOL. He just nodded his head and said "yeah those'll work".
We got them engraved pocket knives with their 4x4 names on them (their screenames that they use on the trail). We got 6 of them for like $60 shipped.. I don't remember the exact cost.

My sister and her now husband got their groomsmen personalized beer mugs last year when they got married and it was a big hit.
Most of our groom's party enjoys a drink so perhaps we will resurrect the idea ourselves. Not sure yet though!

Both of FH's groomsmen are really into good tea, so he's getting them tea from Lupicia Fresh Tea!

Yeah, they are normally just for alcohol. I suppose you could put other drinks in them, but I've never seen it done. FH used to have one that he carried around to parties and stuff with him (it usually had scotch in it), but he lost it. All of his friends drink, so I can see them getting some use out of them.

Yeah, I had to get FH's groomsman gifts also. You know, stereotypical engraved beer mugs...

We've finally settled on Personally Engraved Whiskey Glasses.
Both our witnessess are drinkers of Jack Daniels (So is FH but i'm teetotal) so we know they wont be just sat in their box collecting dust forever and a day.
Just got to make our minds up on what to have put on them. We all go by nicknames or abbreviations of our real names, mine really being Michelle. And the wedding invitations having our real names on too. We're having more trouble with that than what to buy as a gift.

I'm trying to go cheap, but when I order the groomsemen beer mugs, I'd like to order something for my bridesmaids. Oriental Trading has great beer mugs that are cheap and great to be personalized.
Anyone know of a similar site that may have more options for bridesmaids?!?!?!?

I've seen engraved Compact Mirrors on eBay. Some have two mirrors inside, one magnified, the other normal. Others have a place for pressed face powder.
Here's what I got for our guys:
