Ok ladies I need your help!!
The wedding is about 22 days away and the BM dont have shoes!! The dresses are light green with a pink bow and the MOH has a pink dress with a green bow.
I was thinking about them going barefoot so they didnt have to waste money on shoes but my mom and charlies mom dont think that is the best idea since it is inside at the church.
SO i need some ideas...I wanted something with little to no heel...cute and well you know the rest. I really just need something!! I have looked everywhere, kohls, jcpenney, payless, shoe department, old navy, etc....

Do they all have to have shoes that match; maybe they can just find something in a similar style/heel size? No one is going to be looking at their feet anyway; unless you want pictures of everyone's shoes.
I probably wouldn't do the barefoot thing thing in a church, but that is just me.

What about ballet flats? They're relatively cheap, and come in many different colors.

Try looking at cutesygirl.com. They have a bunch of cute flats. You can also try googling ballet flats.

I would do barefoot, if that's what you want to do. I doubt anyone would even notice.

It is your wedding, so ultimately it is your choice, but in my opinion bare feet are only for outdoor informal weddings. I think some might even find it offensive to be barefoot in a church, make sure the pastor (or whoever is performing the ceremony) doesn't have a problem with it first.

I can't see barefoot in the church. Maybe it is because I was brought up in a very structured church that was more reverant than some, but I think it would be better with shoes too.
The Ballet flats would be cute as would just pretty white sandals. Can you just have the girls get a nice pair of white sandals that they like even though they won't match perfectly?

what about going and picking out cute flip flops? at least then they would have something on their feet but you wont be spending mega bucks?
They have a gazillon colors, or maybe get all white then for the BM Do little pink accents, beads?bows? something on the flip flops, and green accents for the FG?

I agree they should probably wear some sort of footwear in the church. I like the idea of the ballet flats though....with prom season in full force you may be able to find some deals. Good luck!

I can't see bare feet in church. The only time bare feet wouldn't stand out is getting married on a beach and on sand (as opposed to a boardwalk or something).
Not to mention, I'd be uncomfortable walking around without shoes all day. What would they do while walking on cement to and from the limo or cars? And I certainly wouldn't want to try to go through an entire reception without any shoes. I am one of those people that unless I am walking on sand or walking from the edge of a pool back to my sandals, I always have some kind of shoes on.
I wish I could be more help regarding which shoes would be best. I like the ballet flats idea or a strappy sandal maybe. Would white, strappy sandals work with the colors? That is another reason I went with black, floor length BM dresses, shoes are much easier to match! LOL I basically just told my girls, any kind of black dress shoe will do. I let them choose what style and heel they were most comfortable wearing and most everyone already owns a pair of black dress shoes.

I agree that they should have something on their feet in the church. What they do after that, I don't think really matters.
I like the idea of the flip flops. Old Navy always has such a good selection of colors. To dress them up, I would also get a ribbon or beads of some sort on the top. But, thats entirely up to you. They would look cute either way.

i say some old navy flip flops in white and go to michaels and get some crystals to add on there. Depending on how many girls, it will take you a couple hours but they will look TOO cute

somebody was also telling me that they knew someone who did old navy flip flops added a BIG ribbon to the front and then a larger jewel crystal looking thing in the middle of the bow. said it dressed it up alot~
old navy sandals are not the most comfortable but they can take them off at the reception.

I would just try to visit any place that I see sells shoes..
Target is really good, different paylesses carry different shoes sometimes..
Thing is, a lot of times you'll find what you're looking for when you're not really looking for it, so just keep your eyes open.
Also, put your BMs to work and have them search for some shoes also..they just have to pass them by you before they make any purchases ^_^

Hi,
I'd be inclined just to wear a plain white shoe. Everyone could have different styles that were comfortable on them. I wouldn't go barefoot!

depending on the look of the dress and the length you could always go with a ballerina looking shoe
