Well, we actually met because he was friends with my older sister. I didn't really pay any attention to him at first, she always had a lot of guy friends over, and I always just kept to myself. I've always been pretty quiet and shy, so we never really talked until he went to breakfast with me and my mom. While I was up getting some napkins or something, he started telling my mom how cute I was and how much he liked me-my mom is pretty cool, though, so she wasn't offended. When I got back to the table, my mom told me what all he had said and he got totally embarassed! It was hilarious! :rofl:
I was already ditching school, it was my freshman year, so I started going over to his house instead! I'll continue this later, I have to run to Walmart for a few things...hopefully I can get back online tonight and add some more. :D

Yeah, my mom's awesome! We have a great relationship and loves to joke and play around. She's very laid back and we talk about everything together! And yes, I went back to school the following year and ended up graduating on time. I started college the next year, but I've changed my major so many times I still haven't gotten a degree! lol. I'm going for an accounting degree now. I'll post more about how we started out in a little bit.

The funny thing is, I work at a college right now, the same one I attend school at, and have worked my way up pretty far. So, I don't even know if I will ever use the degree anyways! lol

So, where was I? Oh yeah, I started ditching school at his house for the rest of my 9th grade year. Went back to school. I had moved in and out of his house a few times, for various reasons.
Our first kiss was 2 days after his birthday, February 27th, 1999-I was 14 and he was 18. From then on, we both knew there was definitely something between us! He never actually proposed to me, but we both just knew we were going to marry each other someday. On our 7 year anniversary of being together, he took me to the mall to "get something to eat"...we did do that, but first, he wanted to stop by the jewelry store. I wasn't really sure why, but he loves watches, so I figured he just wanted to look at them. I was SO WRONG!!! He walked straight over to the rings and said to pick one out!!!:o
I actually found the perfect rings and he bought them that day and had them welded together so I wouldn't loose them-the engagement ring and the wedding ring! I haven't taken them off since...sshhh, don't tell anyone, though! ;)
I'll try to take a pic soon and post it. I actually started planning my wedding for last June, but I needed a car, and I wanted to get my "augmentation" done so that I would feel more confident in my dress, so we postponed it.

We have the venue picked out and mostly paid for.
I have my dress, veil, headpiece, and shoes.
One of my sisters is going to let me wear her 1 carat diamond earrings and my other sister is going to let me wear her diamond necklace that she got from her dad. The earrings and necklace are both very simple so they won't take attention away from my dress.
I have to go to sleep now, I'll continue this at work tomorrow...I'm so bad, playing on the computer and not working!

Wow, it seems like you had an adventure! Just a question.. Was your parents okay with you going out with an 18 yr old when you were 14? or did you wait a while..? o.o;

Well, my dad was never around, so he didn't give a sh** what I did. Danny had been friends with my sister and mom for a while. My mom has always acted younger than she was, so she knew him pretty well. She knew he was a nice guy. And honestly, we hid it from everyone for a while...until we realized that everybody knew anyways! lol But, no, she didn't really have a problem with the age difference. She has always had boyfriends that were younger than her, her boyfriend right now is a little over 10 years younger than her. She understands that ages don't mean anything when it comes to love :D

I had such a hard time getting up for work this morning! I didn't even hear my alarm go off! Luckily, at about 7:10, Danny decided he better wake me up. So, I had about 50 minutes to shower, get ready, and be at work. I was only like 5 minutes late.

Here's everything else that I have done:
My two BM's have their dresses; Danny and one of his GM have their tuxes picked out and paid for; I have my fans that came in a white box with a glass "window" you can see the fan through; I have the fan boxes decorated-I'll try to post some pics after work tonight; I have my favor boxes ordered and I have started decorating them-again, I'll try to post some pics tonight; I have my garters, guestbook and pen, bubbles-that still need a ribbon or something to make them not so "plain"; I have my minister, too. We are supposed to meet with him sometime this week. We have the menu picked out and the cakes.
The main things left are:
Centerpieces; have to buy my M&M's to put in my favor boxes; the flowers; plan the rehearsal dinner; and get the other two GM's tuxes...I think that's it, but I'm sure I will think of more to add!

lol, I actually took my pics at lunch today, and brought them with me to work. For some reason, the pics look kinda fuzzy...

The fans will be handed out to the ladies after they sign my guestbook. On the favor boxes, I will have more variation, some boxes will have two ivory flowers, some will have two pink flowers, some will be like the ones in the pics, and some will have the favor decorations that I am going to attach in a few minutes...I could only attach 5 at a time...

Here are the other 2 pics. The pic labeled favor decorations are actually from the same boxes as the favors, so they match perfectly!. I'm going to glue the little hearts on the box and then put M&M's in them-light pink, dark pink, brown, and ivory.

I met with my minister for the first time yesterday and went over the ceremony. He is supposed to email me some samples over the next week so I can decide on everything. He seems pretty nice.

I went to two florists today. I had one appt. for 12:30 and the other was just anytime before 2:00. When I show up at the first place, I see one car leaving, the last car there. I pull up anyways and go up to the door, of course it's locked. So I call and they say "Well, we close at 12:00. I can leave a message for you." I said "I talked to David yesterday and he said 'tomorrow at 12:30', and before I got off the phone with him, I even double-checked about the time". She said she didn't know why he would do that and not be there, but she would leave a message. WTF!!! I was so mad! :irked: So, I go to the other florist and they were awesome! I can get mini calla lilies online for cheaper than them, but have nowhere to store them and have no idea what to do with them. So, I'm going to order my flowers, buy my vases and sea glass to put in the bottom of the vases, and then I just give everything to them and they will bring store my flowers and put everything together for me!!! :D It's going to cost $10 for each bouquet, $3 for each boutonniere, and $10 for each centerpiece! I'm sooo happy I got that taken care of!

I also got some more favor boxes decorated and started working on my gifts for my BMs, my mom, and FMIL. I'll take some pics later and get them posted. I'm just getting so nervous about the wedding! I can't wait!:grinhappy:

I had my bridal shower over the weekend and it was pretty fun. We had Death by Chocolate Martinis, :D my favorite drink! I loved it! I got some pretty good presents: a nice necklace from my sister, some towels-really soft and big, and cooking stuff. I am waiting on my sister to email me the pics she took. As soon as I get them, I will get them posted.

These next two weeks are going to be very crazy for me! I work M-F 8-5 and have my first hair trial today after work and then tomorrow I have my final dress fitting after work. Both of the appointments are at 5:30 and I'm just really hoping that it doesn't take to long and I don't get home too late! I'm running a little bit short on sleep here and I think it's finally catching up to me! I will try to get pictures of my dress fitting and hair style and post them here...

Yeah, it's very exciting and nerve racking!!! I love my dress so much! I am not sure of the designer or anything, but here are a few pictures of me at the first fitting. I'm hoping that in the pictures tomorrow, I might be smiling a little :D and have my hair and make-up done - not professionally or anything, but without my hair up in a ponytail and my make-up actually fixed. So, my next pictures should be a lot better than the ones I posted below...
