I thought it'd be cute if we all posted one thing we remembered about our FHs. Each sentence HAS to start with "I Remember..." and then end with a memory that will never die about your relationship. If you write more than one sentence, you have to start all the sentences with "I Remember..."
I guess I'm first:
"I Remember...when I made Rick go on a scavenger hunt in school on our first Valentine's day together. I Remember...each card he found had a hint to go somewhere else and each card gave him a small present. I Remember...the last card was the card I held in person because the end of the hunt led up to him finding me and the card said, "I Love You, Rick." I Remember...that was the first time I ever said, or wrote, I love you to him. I Remember...he had tears in his eyes as he heard me say them for the first time and hugged me telling me he loved me too, then picked me up and hugged me in front of all the other high school students."
Good idea or no? It's actually kind of hard. :bbeek: Hehe.

i remember the first intimate contact FH and i had was him (as gross as it sounds) licking my teeth! i remember he did that to be funny because i just got my braces removed and thought my teeth felt really smooth. i remember shortly afterwards we had our first real kiss!

I remember our first trip together. I was really sick with bronchitis and sinus infection, fell asleep on his chest for three hours. All he did was sit there in the quiet room and watched me sleep. That's all it took, I knew that I would marry him the very moment I woke up and he was looking at me.

I remember when we used to sit in his car and talk until the sun came up and i had to go to school.
I remember when my dad dropped me off at school and FH would be waiting in a parking spot for me and i would skip
I remember when he said he would park "amunst" some cars instead of amongst
I remember when we though it was cool to have a stereo system that beat so loud it made peoples car alarms go off.
I remember when that system made our new denali fall to pieces after about a year haha!

I remember Rick calling my ex-bf a "faggot," when we were only best friends. I remember my ex-bf going up to fight him but Rick laughed and waved him off. I remember Rick telling me how much he hated him because he hurt me.
Lol. We were so immature two years ago....
I remember...that when we first met, his hair was longer than mine :) He ended up cutting it short after we'd been together about a year
I remember...when we took our first vacation together. We went to Vegas to visit his family for Christmas. He treated me like a princess and spoiled me the entire time. :grinhappy:
I remember...our very first kiss. We'd been seeing each other for about a week...I'll never forget feeling like my heart was going to pound right out of my chest! :soppy:

I remember our first trip together; I got really drunk and he helped me back to the room and get to bed. I talked alot and was worried I'd scare him off, but didn't. Later, he said he felt closer to me after that trip ... I still don't remember everything we talked about while I was drunk.
I remember when he used to type in code in my pager to read "I Love You" and "Hey Baby" when he was thinking about me and couldn't talk or when I was at work and couldn't talk :grinhappy:
I remember our wedding day after the "kiss", we hugged and he whispered in my ear "I Love You Baby"

I remember...when I had broken up with my bf before Spencer and he let me come over. I remember...we sat there playing that connect the dots to make squares game while watching family guy.
I remember...when we got our first cat, Sandles. I remember...when FH held me around the waist while we looked down on our first kitten as if it was our newborn.

I remember our first Christmas together (about 6 years ago) when FH thought it'd be funny to trick me into thinking he got me a big, heavy gift, when really it was a huge log in a box, along with a t-shirt (the real present).
I remember standing on our back porch kissing and hugging all over each other, and a guy randomly walked back there and saw us (thank goodness it hadn't gotten further!).
I remember my mom telling me that the first time she met FH, she freaked out because she looked up at him (he is 1'2" taller than her) and literally see through his ears (he had big hollow plugs at the time - they are now even bigger!).

I remember our 1 year anniversary. I remember having to pull over the car because it was raining too hard. I remember jumping out of the car, despite my just curled hair, and spinning around in the rain (My older brother and I used to do this when we were younger. I still do from time to time because it makes me feel like a I'm seven year old again, instead of seventeen and because I love the rain). I remember my FH getting out too and telling me I'm going to get really wet. I remember saying I didn't care and hugged him. I remember him laughing and kissing me on the forehead and telling me he loved me and happy anniversary. I remember he then said, "I wouldn't have wanted to spend this year any other way."

I remember an hour ago, when I drove to Rick's job after getting off work myself, because I just started and now we work down the rode from each other, and us walking across the street from his job to Panara Bread. I remember us looking cute in my uniform and his uniform, holding hands.

No one said I couldn't recall a memory that only happened today. I'll remember this for a lonnng time. :-P

I remember swearing off men right before I met FH. I was sick of guys and determined to stay single. I remember turning him down when he asked me out even though I liked him, and I remember regretting it and saying yes the next time he asked.

I remember the first time I ever saw him. I remember that it was my friend's bridal shower, and he came after it with his brother (the groom). I remember him being very quiet and standing there wearing white socks (and other stuff too, obviously). I remember him proposing to me in that very same room, around four years later.

I remember the first time I physically met my husband after talking to him for months online...It's a unique experience to get to know someone so well before you actually see them face to face. That is an emotion I will never forget.

I remember seeing FH's picture online for the first time. And thinking he looked like a Thug.
I remember meeting him for the very first time. Not a word was said we just hugged for what seemed like ages. It was a hug from heaven and something we were both missing from our (then) marriages.
I remember sitting in his car outside the chip shop eating a hot bag of chips (Oops, French Fries lol) between us. Steaming up the windows and writing our names in the steam.
I remember meeting his kids for the first time and wondering how we would all get along. In the past six years it's been great.
I remember getting a telephone call from his eldest daughter to say she was making us Grandparents at the ripe old age of 36. After the initial shock we all pulled together and she's turned out to be a fantastic mum to her son.

 I remember...the first time I ever kissed Justin. I remember the glow of the flashlight as it bounced off the bottle we were spinning. I remember the hard wooden bench I was sitting on felt like it was an ice slab. I remember the taste of hickory and the scratch of his stubble and the smooth, softness of his lips combating it. I remember how we didn't stop kissing right away. I remember how every time the bottle landed on the other we found excuses to kiss for longer and longer each time. I remember laying awake that night in my bunk daydreaming about what it would be like to date him and the heat of my cheeks whenever he was around the next morning. I remember our first kiss like it just happened today instead of 5 years ago.

I remember the email I got from him. I also remember the first phone conversation we had that lasted like 2 hours while he kept walking around in Target just to keep talking to me. I remember when I first met him and what he wore. I remember how at Macaroni Grill, he drew silly things with his crayon on the paper that goes on top of the table. I remember how I noticed that he gets awkward eating in front of people, and that he is HORRIBLE at eating pasta - mainly fettuccine. I remember the first movie we saw together in theatres (Walk Hard), I literally remember everything.
I have every single one of our email conversations archived, and he has saved them too, so every once in awhile, we look back and read and I laugh at how he didn't pick up on how I was subtly flirting with him hahaha!!!

I remember our first vacation together in Washington DC and a homeless person yelling at us for not giving him change.
I remember Jon telling me he loved me for the first time.
I remember our first day in our first apartment. He took me in his arms and said "We're home"
I remember Jon holding a cup for me to pee in because I was way to sick to make it to the bathroom.
A few more :)
I remember when we used to have 'Iron Chef Challenges.' FH would leave it up to me to pick a "secret ingredient" and he'd make an entire (several course) meal based around it...it was SO much fun! He hasn't had much time lately to spend the whole day in the kitchen cooking, but hopefully we can do it again in the future.
I remember how he wrote a thank you note to my grandfather, and how they became snail mail pen-pals after that. They still write letters back and forth, and they have formed a neat relationship. My grandpa doesn't travel anymore, but I'm hoping they can meet in person someday soon.

I remember the very moment I realized I was going to marry him. We weren't even dating yet, but the way he looked at me and the way his eyes melted my spine, I knew I'd be his forever. It terrified me because I'd never been so sure of anything in my life.
I remember when we first started dating, he took me to a pedestrian bridge at night and he danced with me over the cars driving below us...no music, no talking...just us and the tango. That will always be one of my favorite memories of us.
I remember when we got home from our honeymoon, I walked into the living room to find him sitting on the couch in his underwear, covered in poison ivy blisters, watching Everybody Loves Raymond, eating the entire bottom portion of our wedding cake with a fork. And I remember thinking how things change so soon.

I remember the image of him on the day we first met, wearing a black mock-turtleneck with a half-zip front, a leather jacket, jeans, and motorcycle boots and sitting on my friend's high dorm bed so he could see the Space Needle from her window.
I remember our first long-distance phone call, that was supposed to last maybe a half hour but ended up being 8 hours long. I remember feeling faint, because I hadn't eaten or drank during those 8 hours. I remember the 9, 10, and 12-hour calls that followed, and the horrific phone bills.
I remember flirting with him over AIM, which is free, kissing the screen, and then having to find some windex because my lip-print was smudged all over it.
I remember how happy I was to have a south-facing window. I remember opening that window every night and blowing a kiss from Seattle to California.
I remember the first time I visited him at the condo, and I offered to cook. I opened up the fridge and freezer and saw Asian condiments I didn't recognize, squid, freezer-burned ravioli, and octopus balls. I remember looking in the pantry and seeing a million of those vegetarian Indian food pouches, raisins, whole wheat pancake mix, and wild rice. I remember telling him that we had to go to the grocery store because there was nothing I could make with those ingredients.
I remember our first kiss, in front of the saltwater aquarium he no longer owns. I remember this each time I see the imprint in the carpet where it first was.
I remember abandoning everything to move in with him. All I had was one small red rolling suitcase and a one-way ticket.
I remember how he bought me a piece of jewelry every anniversary. I remember telling him that this year, he was exempt from that, because I saw the credit card bill from the e-ring and w-rings.

I remember...the first time I seen my FH. I remember...him walking into the meeting before work (we work at the same factory). I remember...his arm barely brushed mine. I remember...thinking
"ok..who in the world just shot me?" I remember...wondering who is that when I finally figured out I hadn't been shot at all. I remember...feeling something that I had never felt before. I remember...knowing that he was "the one". I remeber...it like it was yesterday even though that was 4 years before we started seeing each other. I remember...it every day since the day we started dating a year and a half ago.

I remember the first time we met, I looked at him as he drove into the parking lot with his car, he parked, I got out of my car and ran and hugged him.
I remember our first kiss, I thought he was going to swollow my head. It was the worst kiss I ever experianced:bbeek: but they have gotten way better since then.
I remember the first time I met his parents, I said " Hi, nice to meet you, can I use your bathroom" they still give me a hard time with that.
I remember when we told his parents we were getting married. His mother cried with happiness.
I remember the phone calls, two or more hours a night. On his cell phone, so many times he went over in his minutes..so many times
I remember the first flower he gave me, it was sunflower, I cried, I still have it five years later, obviously it was a fake flower, I have it in a bundle of sunflowers in the kitchen now

I remember the first time I saw my FH. My boss/friend was trying to hook him up with another friend and I thought – no way! What a dork!
I remember the first time I actually met him I was cooking food for a friend’s rehearsal dinner (she fired her caterer at the last minute!) and couldn’t reach anything in her kitchen. He came to my rescue, got a ladder and grabbed everything I needed.
I remember when someone told me that he told his parents that night, I met a really cute girl, she’s got a big butt, but she eats meat and she’s really cute…
I remember getting stood up the next day at the wedding and being really upset and consuming lots of vodka and cranberry.
I remember while drunk at that wedding, grabbing him away from another girl and winning the dirty dancing contest. I led!
I remember flying back to Indiana thinking I’d never see him again, and then flowers showed up at work the next day.

I remember that before FH and I even actually met (we met online) we'd chat online all day at work, come home and stay on the phone until 2am- then get up the next day and do it all again...:D
I remember the first time we met face to face... I decided to ditch my evening Physics class and stay home. I sent him a text from class asking if he'd like to come over and watch a movie with me (yes, I actually invited him to MY HOUSE- I felt that comfortable with him). I opened the door when he got there and I knew from that moment that he'd be a big part of my life (although at that time, I was just thinking frienship :D)...
I remember after that the day after our 1st official "date", there were two dozen white roses (my favorite) delivered to my door with a note thanking me for blessing him with such a speial evening...
I remember him being determined to surprise me with the proposal (I was a nosy sneak and knew it was coming- I'd sworn that he'd never be able to catch me off guard, lol)so once I figured he'd wait till Christmas, he proposed on December 22... We were alone at home, and after a nice romantic evening, we ventured downstairs to light up the Christmas tree. He complimented me on how beautifully I'd decorated the tree... and then said "Oh wait, what's this??" and pulled a ring box from the middle of the tree and asked me to marry him. (He hates when I tell people how he proposed, because he thinks it was corny- but I think it was the sweetest thing ever). I have to give it to him though, he actually did catch me off guard, lol...

I remember I didn't think he would ask me out again but then he got hit by a car and needed someone to pick him up at the hospital because he didn't have anyone else to call since he was new to the area.
I remember him telling me two years later that had he not been hit by a car we wouldn't still be together.
I remember I was pretty done with him too, so I remember agreeing with him.

I remember the first day i got a butterfly feeling inside when i seen his name on my cell's caller ID and wondering what the heck that was all about

Whoops! I just read that we are only suppose to put one thing...well I can't just put one thing haha so if you want to read through this, I have alot of little things.
I remember our first kiss in a horse barn, and getting in trouble minutes later by the barn owner's wife. I remember how after his homecoming, we had only been together for less than a month, and we sat on my porch until 4 in the morning talking as if we had known eachother for forever. I remember sitting in the car for countless hours, talking and how he first mentioned to me that he wanted to be with me for forever. I remember crying my eyes out everytime we leave for the summer to go back to school since we are long distance, and how seeing you cry only makes me cry harder. I remember the late nights, missed parties, and long phone and computer talks just to keep the relationship going, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I remember the love notes he used to write me in high school. I remember how in Hawaii we walked along that beach for three hours talking about love and the such and how you whispered in my ear to propose to me. I remember going to my ranch and singing along to the radio the whole way. I remember that summer we went to the Lake with Alex and Kevin, we drove the whole way with the windows down, your dog in the back, and on the way home we ate at that $5 chinese food buffet. I remember going mudding with you and your friends and getting stuck and you asking me to be your girlfriend. I remember our first date--fishing in the rain, where you swore you would catch more fish than me, but you had never met this tomboy before, and I outfished you...by a lot. I remember how I want to remember every moment we spend together, because those are the things that make life precious.

I just saw this thread for the first time so here are a few of my " I remembers".
I remember the silence over the phone the night I called DH after a year of not being together ( and not having had the chance to actualy meet yet ) after telling him I wanted to be with him. He was the one thing missing in my life. I told him I wanted to marry him and give him a baby.
I remember talking to him the next day and him saying he waited for my call to see if last night was a dream or not.
I remember his first visit. I waited for about an hour at that airport for his delayed flight to land. I remember him texting me asking me where I was as he came in on a different floor of the airport.
I remember seeing him across the lobby of that airport, him walking towards me, seeing him in the flesh for the very first time. I remember it seemed to take forever for us to reach each other. I remember the embrace before we even said hi. The kiss, the hug, it lasted forever.
I remember picking him up from that same airport for the last time. He was here to stay with me forever.
I remember the day I married this man. The look in his eyes, the sweetness of his touch as he wiped away my happy tears.
I remember the day out son was born. The look in my DH eyes. He was speachless. He was in tears. He was so in love.

I remember when he bought me a cell phone after I had gotten stuck in traffic for hours after work one night and he (and my mom) was worried about me and I didn't get home till 3am.
I remember telling him how I hated to go to the laundry mat and/or having to go to my parents house to wash my clothes and the next weekend he got me a washer and dryer ... we still have to too!
I remember him making me a little 2 seater table in my first apartment so that I could have a place to sit in my tiny a$$ kitchen.
I remember how he fixed the lock on my door so that I would be safe since we couldn't get in touch with the land lord until the next Monday.
I remember how every time I have to make a long trip he makes sure my car has gas and checks the tires and all for me.
I remember once when we first started dating and I was still living with my parents, I had gotten sick (cold or flu) and he came by and brought me orange juice and soup and a cute card (I still have the card)
I remember when I got a bad staph infection and had to have IV meds at home for a week, he took off work to take care of me.
I could go on and on ... I remember everything he has and continues to do for me and for us ... I love my man so much

I remember...thinking my dad was crazy when we were watching the video FH's dad made with him in and my dad saying,"There's your future husband".

I remember...the look on his face when he finally met me for the first time. :)
I remember...texting him the night I met him and all the next day...even though I had a boyfriend at the time.
I remember...when he bought me roses for the first time two days after he first met me and how his eyes lit up when I thanked them for him.
I remember...reading the card that came with the flowers that said, "Thinking of you".I still have that card :)
I remember...when he got hurt racing,I was so scared for him and driving to the hospital which was like 2 hours away to get him.
I remember that was also the first night that I stayed at the house with him.
I remember...the look on his face when I said yes after he asked me to marry him.
I remember...how he told me he loved me over the walkie talkie here at work this morning :) :hearts::hearts:

I remember... a couple months after I started dating DH - his roommate confided in me that DH went CRAZY cleaning their apartment every time I was about to come over... I thought it was SOOO cute.
I remember... the first time he told me that he loved me. It ties with our wedding as the best moment of my life - my body suddenly became extremely flush, and it was like I couldn't hear anything for like 10 seconds afterward.. I was just frozen with the most wonderful feelings I had never felt before.
I remember... our first Valentines Day, when he made me heart-shaped pink pancakes with berries... so tasty, and sooo sweet!

I remember him laughing and rolling his eyes at me when I'd call him to come put gas in my car all throughout college because I refused to learn how.
I remember crying over assignments throughout law school, and him holding me and running his fingers through my hair until I felt better.
I remember buying our house together and him spending hours with me looking at furniture even though he hated it.
I remember when I realized that he knows more about me than I know about myself.

I remember the day FH said he was going to Iceland and when could we meet in person.
I remember having 2 dates set up with other guys in Iceland and leaving one early and cancelling the other, because I knew FH was the one!
I remember wishing all my life for a man who cared about me (other then my father) to send me a bouquet of roses (or any other flower for that matter) and I remember the day I got home from work on our 1 month anniversary and found a bouquet waiting for me from FH.
I remember the 1st time we said I love you to each other and knew we both meant it!
I remember the 1st time for either of us. I remember the look in his eyes when he asked if I was sure and I said yes I was sure.
I remember the day and moment he asked me to marry him!
I remember the day I stopped writing poetry because I didn't need to dream about it anymore - I was living it! I remember looking back at all the love poems I'd written thru my life and thinking "these are ALL about him all the time!"
I remember the look in his eyes when he told his parents we were getting married.
I remember all the times he's seemed to know me better then myself.
I could easily go on. Anton is every dream I've ever hoped and wished for come true and so much more!

I remember the first kiss. I remember he whispered "I've been waiting 8 years for that kiss".
I remember the first time I made him breakfast. I remember he said it's the first time any girl he'd dated cooked him breakfast.
I remember him calling me on my birthday 2 years ago, because he couldn't be there. I remember he sang me happy birthday over the phone while playing his guitar, and the song lasting about 4 minutes.
I remember going on sushi dates together when we first got out of high school, even though we were both seeing other people. I remember we'd be giggling and joking so loud that other people would look over at our table. I remember him taking a picture of me at our last sushi date before he deployed. I remember him saying he was so upset that he lost his phone, because it had that picture on it.
I remember everytime I'm sick, he lays with me in bed and tells me I'm still beautiful.
I remember the day he came home with the saddest look on his face. I remember he said they were going to deploy him and that our wedding would have to be cancelled. I remember trying not to cry. I remember him telling me he needed me to be strong for him and that he needed me to love him more than ever at that moment. I remember him holding my head to his chest while I silently cried. I remember trying to remember the sound of his heartbeat because I knew he was going to be gone for a long time. I remember it being one of the saddest weeks of our relationship, yet one of the sweetest. I remember the day he called me from work the minute he found out to say he didn't have to go. I remember I will always have love for the people who made it possible for him to stay.

I remember staying up until sunrise just to talk to him.
I remember meeting him for the first time after a couple of months and thinking wow hes really cute.
I remember being so shy around him in person but when we got on the phone talking his head off.
I remember our first kiss (on a four-wheeler) in the woods.
I remember the day he asked me to be his girlfriend :)
I remember how hard it was to be without him when he worked out of town but in the end it just made us closer.
I remember the night he asked me to be his wife and just crying in his arms.
I remember all those nights we go to our "spot" it was so peaceful we'd just sit there for hours and talk.
