Bridal shower

Does anyone know about there bridal shower? i know about mine. which i don't mind. my FH's family was upset that i knew cause its suppose to be a suprise. But i personally dont think it matters.
p.s. my shower is on april 1st!! yippie. only 2 weeks away

I know every detail of my shower becaus I planned the whole :censored: thing. I know, I am surrounded by a great mother and bridesmaids, right? :bbmad: The bride isn't supposed to be involved much past getting a date and supplying a guest list. I happen to be the exception to this rule. If you check out my latest post in the venting section you will see where my bitterness on the matter is stemming from. The only thing I don't like about showers is when they are a surprise. I just am not a surprise party fan.

I know about mine. My mom's friend is putting one one for alll their friends to attend (i think its a bit bizzar) but they asked me because they didn't want to plan it for the last weeks before i was finishing classes.
My MOH hasn't said anything about planning on for me. If she is doing it, i don't know about it. I'm not crazy over surprise parties, so hopefully i will find out soon if she's doing somthing or not.

Mine is pretty far off, but the ladies at church and my mom's friend and my friends have already started talking about it. They all want to throw me one so I guess I'll be having 3. I don't want to be involved in them more than giving a guest list. We will see when it gets closer.

I know when mine is. My mom told me so that I can take off of work for it (I work weekends). Otherwise I know nothing.

My little sister is throwing mine, since my 12 year old daughter is more or less the MoH. And I didnt really want one, because #1- Ive been married before and didnt think I was supposed to have one (even though I didnt have one before) and #2 - Ive been living on my own for 13 years, and Brian has been for longer than that so we have everything that you normally give a bride at her shower. Well......my sister came up with the idea of a "Pamper the Bride" shower. I agreed to that. I know where its supposed to be, when its supposed to be and whos invited.

The deal was that my mother was going to do the bridal shower because my MOH lives too far away. Well, when my mother was diagnosed, I went up there to help her out with the plans so as to take some stress off of her. I know the brides aren't supposed to be involved, but considering the circumstances, I think it was allowed.

I don't know anything about mine. I don't even know if I am having one.. I have a little ways to go, though.

I was in the same boat as Lacey!! I ended up decorating for my shower because my MOH decided it was a great time for her (b1tch) mother to visit from Cali! I was so choked!! Still am a little to be honest!! thankfully my DH told me to go home and he would finish up because it wasn't my place to be there and be decorating for my own shower!

My granny was mad because I knew about my shower, but I had to cordinate the whole thing with my side of the family and his side of the family and so on! I got mad at my grandma and told her to butt out! She was driving my mom and SIL/MOH crazy with all the calls and complaining that I knew about my shower!

I really early to be thinking of my bridal shower but the girls have already told me ideas about the day. They almost had to one of the BM lives in VA and they needed to ask me for her phone number. I am super nosey so I wouldn't give up the info. until they told me why.
