I know alot of us people here like to save some money.. I know weddings can get expensive if you don't watch it so...I know alot of you guys here have and will do the food yourself for your wedding. My mom is getting married, and we are cluesless about the foods for her wedding. We want finger foods.

I am not getting married right now, no time soon. But WHEN i do i want my future wedding to be at like 11 am so it'll be like a breakfast kind of thing, but my mom refuses to do something like that...any ideas?

I was thinking:
Fresh fruit
chesses
cracks/ dips

And thats as far as i got..

Our reception was pretty casual & we DIY'd everything. We also tried to keep to finger foods. This was our menu (although some items might not be suitable for a brunch buffet :)) -

Mini Quiches
Croissant Sandwiches - we ordered 2 platters of sandwiches ready made and cut each sandwich in half (these were snapped right up)
Shrimp & Cocktail Sauce (gone within minutes)
Assorted Cheese & Crackers (also gone)
A tossed salad - the only thing that we really needed forks for
Veggies and Dip(s) Platter

To drink -
White and Red Sangria
Rum Punch
Flavoured Water
Regular Water
Pop
Raspberry Lemonade
Tea
Coffee

For Dessert -
Petit Fours (these were fantastic!!!)
Fruit Cocktail
A Chocolate Fountain with various dippers - Yummy!!!!!
and a small wedding cake
