Is it just my computer, or is the site loading slow today. I tried to open it a couple times and it wouldn't let me. And some of the thread I try to read are loading really slow. Didn't know if it was my internet connection or if it was the site. I don't seem to have the problem with any other websites today.

That is strange. I haven't had any problems with the site today.
Hopefully its not your computer having problems!

I dont usually have probs at work but at home there are times when I open some of the threads right up but some of the other ones will say "page not found". I figured it was dial up vs. cable.

I also haven't been having any problems with the site today but some days I do! I just chalk it up to my internet and our crappy provider who is always striking or making our internet lives difficult!! lol

I just went into the chat and even as i am typing this it is being kinda slow.
I think it was cause i was printing so it was using alot of my computer.
I dunno though.

Everything is good on our end at the server level and the upstream provider. I checked the server load time, internet traffic, database server and it was more then good for what the server can handle.

Your ISP could be having some DNS problems.

I never have problems with this site. I don't have many problems with the internet anymore since we got DSL ... I would hate to go back to dial up! There are a few websites out there on slow servers though, I hate it when that happens.

I still have dial up. But I'm lucky to even have internet. We only have local tv still! LOL!!! Justin only agreed to get it because I was spending so much time at my parents house doing school work and stuff. But this site is always pretty good at loading for me. Today it may have been a little slower, but my e-mail was going slow so I think for me at least it is my server.
