So, I've been fiddling around with this and that, ideas since moving the wedding to May. Our colors are green, pink, and brown and we're incorporating a garden "Tea" kind of notion.

Well, I got the idea to use "Tea Blooms" in my favors. Have any of you ladies seen these? Here is a small youtube video with good examples.

They can be a bit pricey, but it is possible to find them around $1 if you're lucky. The prettier ones run $3 +. Well I found This Seller (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=280228746878) on ebay and I'm very excited!

120 Blooms for about $50 and $19 shipping. That's about $0.58 per bloom. A massive deal! Now it's just time to figure out if he's a good seller. I'll be totally bummed if not. But there are other places to look.

I need to get over to that Paper Mart online place and see what kind of favor bags they have. Also wondering what else I could put with the bloom, if anything. They may be cool enough on their own right? I'll have to include little instructions too of course.

i think the tea blooms are totally cool!!!

only thing is, they would have to have a clear glass teapot to appreciate it. or are you giving teapots as part of the favor?

No way! I wish that I would have been able to find that deal for our tea gifts! We ended up just using a tea bag with our favors. That blooming tea is amazing.

Awesome find. I hope that you have a good experience with the seller.

You can bloom them in normal pitchers, and even in single glasses too, so I won't be spending the extra money to buy them teapots :grinhappy:

And yes Keely I totally thought of you and your tea stuff! I was looking for cute teabags at first when I remembered these :D

I had also found this: http://www.favorideas.com/shopping/prod/GF-Tea.htm
