I haven't been around much and just wanted to say hi and give an update. Matt and I have now graduated from our university (as of May 3rd). We had our 1 year anniversary on the 12th and then moved out of our apartment on the 13th. We are staying with my parents, and his parents (they only live 8 miles apart) until our apartment in Florida is ready. We hope to be moving to Florida mid-June, it just depends on how soon they can get our apartment ready for us. We had to leave our apartment near Chicago because our lease was up. So we are just hanging out in Indiana until Florida.
Job-wise, everything is still a go with me for the Academy, and Matt has been interviewing at a church that is a block from the Academy that I will work at (and living at, because the Academy provides housing on campus). We are pretty confident in the position and he may in fact be getting the call to offer him the job this afternoon. It is a part-time position that will actually pay pretty well for a part-time youth pastor position and will allow him to work from home (when he is preparing lessons and such, obviously he will be at the church for various events) and since I will be working from home we are really excited about it all.
So now we just are kind of waiting until we can fully move. All of our belongings are being stored in Orlando in a moving "pod" until we get down there, so we are literally living out of our suitcases until we can move down. I have internet here, so I will hopfully be around more now, but still kind of randomly because we are in a weird transition stage. I am just ready to move already!!
