View Full Version : Postage
So Postage went up $0.01 on the 12th (from $0.41 to $0.42). I know this applies to letters, but does it apply to post cards as well????
My RSVP's are post cards, and I pre stamped em, but I didn't think about postage going up :urgh: I searched online and can't find if post card postage went up as well.

There is a postal price calculator on the USPS website - it looks like postcards are still $0.27 each...

When I bought postcard stamps a few weeks ago they asked how many I needed and to be prepared because they were going up. Who knows the post office never seems to know! Left hand right hand thing:)!

I was so pissed about the postage thing! I went in to buy a new thing of stamps earlier this week. I'm like 'I want the flowers!' They're like 'Postage went up, the flowers are no longer available. And since they just went up today, it looks like all we have are the forever stamps.' And he pulls out these ugly brown bell stamps. I'm like 'but these are for wedding invitations. There's nothing wedding-like about these.' I was so annoyed.

We bought the forever stamps for our invites, but our invites are going to be a natural brown color, so they wont look to bad. And if you think about it they are FOREVER stamps. Just like your marriage "it will last forever" :D

I heard that postage was going up again; luckily DH bought some "forever" stamps after the last change and they will still be good no matter how much the cost goes up!

Really?? That's how "forever" stamps work? I've never heard of that...

I asked the same thing and postage for post cards were like .26 or something like that ....and they went up one cent also. I was a dummy and put reg. stamps on my RSVPS not thinking...but they still worked I just could have saved some money!:irked:
