Yaya- I got the job- almost!

Last week, I went to an interview for this big corporation in Boston. The interview took 2 hours and there was 4 individual interviews. :panda: But early this morning at 9 am), the recruiter called me and said that they liked me and I was the strongest candidate of the bunch! Yay... and that he would like to extend an offer to me after a background check... so I have my fingers crossed that my background check goes okay... my credit score isn't so good :bbredface:.

I will officially graduate from college this Saturday, so it will be life changing if I get this job. :cloppy:

I just wanted to share my good news.

I understand but still think it stinks sometimes that corporations are allowed to do a back ground check on potential employees; I mean okay... I understand they want to be sure that employees are trustworthy, hardworking, etc. but exactly what basis does a credit score have on an employees skills & qualification for a job? Just my opinion.

I know it sucks. My coworker has a master's degree but because of school loans, she went bankrupt 9 years ago.... and people won't hire her for that. She's working as a secretary right now.

Hey! Just an update... but I got the job. Yay!

I'm starting the 2nd of june. It's corporate so now I have buy a new wardrobe. My fh and fmil and family were so proud of me. Also because I'm the 1st in my family to graduate from college. :D

So now I can finally afford my dream wedding.
