Our wedding is in 6 days (!!!). I was just wondering if any of you married folks had any regrets about your wedding, as far as planning or the actual day. Did you regret doing or not doing something? Would you have done anything differently?

We had a very small wedding ceremony in our home, it was just what we wanted. But we didn't get to have a real reception; the only think I sort of regret is that I didn't get to do the dance with my Daddy thing.

I'm not sure I would CHANGE anything but when we renew our vows, we will have the big wedding.

I would've had a different photographer...but I think that's all! Enjoy your day :)

I should have planned it for earlier in the day. I didn't get to wear the purty dress long enough!
Oh yes, I would have picked another photographer too.

Lol. I wish I, or someone, had remembered to bring our napkins that we ordered! Lol. Didn't even realize it until Sunday (the day after). Suprisingly no one said anything about it...you know, people usually order things like that. We have so many napkins still to use.

My only one regret was that I really didn't get to throw the bouquet or garter. All we had was dinner at a restaurant and then dancing at a club. That was it. BUT, everything else I wouldnt have changed!

My only one I can think of was not getting to talk to everyone and I didn't get pictures with my grandma :bbcry:

If I had it to do over, I think I would've gotten a DJ so my brother would not have had to worry with the music during the reception and to minimize the lulls between people speaking/songs. I may have foregone the veil too...or at least gotten a shorter one, or one I could easily take off without messing up my hair. Every time somebody hugged me, the veil got pulled down and I felt like my hair was going to fall by the end of it. My neck was sore for a couple days afterwards from holding it up too...lol. Oh and I would've given myself more time to get ready before the wedding.
I think that's it. The day was practically perfect :)

I would of done my hair wayyyyyyy differant.. I would of dropped two of the bridesmaids..and a groomsman, put more decorations at the reception...and put color into the outside of my cake. I had just a plain white cake. Oh and I would of had a differant DJ. The DJ was the HORRIABLE!!!!!!!!!!
otherwise..all went wonderfull..:)

Oh wow...I would have had it a little earlier in the day...Say just after the lunch hour and had an after party with my closest friends...I didn't want to take my dress off either!
I would have used a different florist..I was ok with the flowers..She forgot two long stem roses for us to give to our mom's after lighting the unity candles..The boutineers welted before the reception began..She didn't listen at all when it came to using greenary in my bouquet..It looked a little sloppy. I was rather disappointed.
I would have chose a different dress shop...If you look thru past threads you'll see why!
I would have hired a better DJ...He was ok..but thru my DVD during the reception all I hear him say good god and have mercy..I think he liked the way he sounded over the mic and just decided to do that over and over again!!
