Has anyone gotten there paper tax rebate check in the mail?

I am just curious to know if they have started mailing them or not. If they are ahead of schedule or not. My 2 digits are 26 fh is 17. We really could use the money right now...

I think you may be waiting awhile yet. FH just got his direct deposited yesterday and his last two digits are 40. I'm waiting to get mine deposited with 88.

My FH's is 45 and he got his last wednesday.... So I am not really sure what is going on.... it may have something to do with your bank.....

I am so confused lol ! Ive had quite a few people explain this to me and it still doesnt make sense:) So I"ll jsut sit tight and when it gets here it gets here:) Hpefully it wont be TOO much longer. I know I can expect it at least be July!

I got a note saying i have $373 coming to me.. Steve is getting $600! YAY, at least one of us got it, lol!

I received mine (direct deposit) on May 5th.. last monday! My last two digits are 58. FH's are 53 and he hasn't gotten his yet.

What do you mean you got a note saying what you will get. I thought you just get a check. Do they let you know what you get before hand?

Mine was supposed to be deposited on the 9th and I still don't have it. My # are 48 I'm guessing I will be a paper check now and it's should be around June 13th.

The IRS is currently sending out letters to everyone that is suppose to be getting the paper checks. I don't know why and it seems like a waste of money to me.

i'm a bank teller at wamu and so far i've had 2 customers give me their paper checks. looks like they have aleady gone out! hang in there!

I also am a teller at a bank and I have yet to see any paper checks but I have seen alot of deposits going in. Also alot of people looking for their deposits that have NOT gone in. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to it. I guess we will get it when we get it.

i got a letter in the mail the on monday (12) telling me how much i was getting and when i should except it to be deposited. I got the letter after I recieved the money. But they said if you do not receive the money within 6 weeks of the letter i got to contact the number above.
it said i should get it 5/9/08 i got it like the 6th i think.
my hubby has not received anything yet. but he is getting the paper check so maybe sometime this summer he will get his

we got ours in the early part of July I believe..my Dh is 24 and i'm 48. we got a letter telling us when to expect it. We got it about a week after the date we should have recieved it.

By the way, I am not sure if anyone else mentioned this. But, your stimulus package will be direct deposited or sent to you based on when you submitted your 2007 tax return. Earlier you sent it in, sooner you get it.

If you don't send in ur taxes (big no no, haha) or you have extended the date, you won't receive it until you do. Guess there are some small benefits of being a CPA, not many though, hehe.
