I just bought a Canon 50mm f/1.8 II. Freaking LOVE it so far!! Looky! (The f/1.8 allows you to focus on one part of your subject and blur the surroundings, which is great for portraits. LOVE LOVE LOVE!)

Nice! I have the 50mm 1.4 and also have 85mm 1.8 love it!! I REALLY want the 70-200mm 2.8. But I have this thing called a wedding I'm saving up for HA. So the camera funds get pushed back.

I don't know a lot about photography or cameras, but I LOVE pictures like that where the background is blurry!!

I like the effect of the lens. I got a Nikon D40 last year and love it- it's so lightwieght. I really want to take a photography class but don't have time right now. I want to get some other lenses though - the fish-eye kind looks fun.
