View Full Version : I got my first Celebrity Response!!!!!!
So Matt has a lot of respect for the Teutuls (Orange County Choppers). All the stuff I found online says that they don't respond to their fanmail. WELL!!! I sent them a request for something for Matt - told them that I wanted it to be a surprise for him. I only sent the Celebrity invitations like 10 days ago!
Today I checked the mail and they were the first to send us something!!! We got a signed post card, signed by each of the Teutuls (Paul Sr, Paul Jr, and Mikey), and it says "best of luck" on it! Matt is SO PSYCHED!!!!! He LOVES IT!! :whoohoo:

Oh, you totally made me think of a groom's gift! Well, we weren't going to do anything, but something small, maybe wouldn't be awful. Maybe I could do what you did and send something to a lot of the different bands and such that FH likes and ask for something for him, and compile whatever I get back, and save it till the wedding as a gift for him... that might be cool. :grinhappy:

I couldn't contain myself - I gave it to him soon's I walked in the house with it. I didn't tell him that I sent it to 13 other stars as well though LOL :)

Oh heck I don't remember. Something about how I asked my fiancee if he could meet any celebrity who would it be and why. I told them that he said them because of everything they've been through and he has a lot of respect for them and he appreciates them. I asked for something to give him with his wedding gift.

OMG!!!! I got another one!! I'll have to scan it when I get home. So, Matt's mom and my mom are lifelong Alan Jackson fans... so I dropped a note in Alan's invitation, telling him that both of our moms are HUGE fans and could he please sign a picture of him and address one to Debbie and one to Beth.... HE DID IT!! We got 1 8x10 picture signed "to Debbie Love Alan Jackson" another 8x10 signed "To Beth Love Alan Jackson" And he included (without my asking!!!) another picture that says "To Matt and Justina, Keep Livin' On Love, Love Alan Jackson"
He really really signed em!! I can see the ink on the outside of the picture. Okay, so no absolute guarantee that HE wrote it, but SOMEONE did, and I just am happy to think he did it heheheee!! so I'm going to frame them for our moms for part of our wedding gift to them :whoohoo:

Thats awesome...stupid me didnt put a darn note in the invitations...I just sent the invitations as is:irked: GRR....ohh well that is awesome that they sent something back though!!!

I don't remember the web address. It's in the other celebrity thread though.
I did send one to the president and our governor as well!!! Haven't heard back from them yet.

So Matt and I got a letter from the Governator!!! He sent us a real sweet letter about our wedding and our future and stuff, (which I'm sure was canned), but he signed it I can tell that much :happy:

Yep! That bout sums it up! Some of them I just sent an invite (like the governor)... and the others (Alan Jackson) I sent a special note.
