I'M SO EXCITED!!!
Well after six long years, I'm going back home to Hawaii. I give credit to my DH who made it happen. At first I didn't think it was going to happen. We originally bought tickets in February through ATA airlines. As you all know, they went belly up. I was so upset, because we got tickets at a really good price through ATA. Well we eventually did get our money back, but I knew I wasn't going to find tickets at a really good price again.
With our wedding coming up, all our funds were locked in to our wedding. I decided not to think about going back home until after the wedding. I wanted to enjoy my day. Well our wedding came and went and like I said in other posts, our day could not have been more perfect.
We got back home and there I started feeling down, because I really wanted to go back home. Not only because my niece was getting married, but also there have been so many additions to our family since I left Hawaii and I wanted my DH and son to meet everyone that couldn't be at our wedding. Being Filipino, I had A LOT of family to introduce him to. Well my husband, always being the optimist, kept telling me that everything was going to work out. Well one night recently, he told me to get online and look for tickets and he handed me his credit card!!! He had the money for the tickets!!!! Even if they were going to be double than the original tickets.
Now we are planning on what we're going to do, where to go and also a list of people to send postcards to (anyone want to join the list..LOL). All I can say is that without my DH, I really honestly don't think I'd be going back home in June. He definitely is my hero..
