Does anyone know any good sites for personalized stationery? I have looked everywhere for thank you cards for my shower. It is in 5 weeks so I need to get things ordered since it can take a couple weeks. Anyway I checked at Crane, William Arthur, American Stationery, and My Gatsby...I can't find anything! Suggestions?

There's a nice stationary store on Wood Street, towards Point Park University (I'm pretty sure that's where it is). They were never open when I was there for classes, but they seemed to have beautiful things - from what I could see in the window.

Also, there's the stationary place in Market Square. I used to go in there every chance I got. I think they did personalized stuff too.

Ugh....I know you'll get the chair if I'm wrong

Market Square is scary. There is also one on Murray Avenue across from the Barnes and Noble and a very nice Papyrus at Ross Park Mall too.

Market Square is only scary (to me anyways) after dark. I used to love to have breaks from class on Saturday and roam around there for an hour or two.

After dark, now, that's a whole other thing.

I found my thank you cards at Michael's in their dollar bins. They're blank on the inside and they have a beautiful painting of a rose on the front. To top it off, fifty thank you cards for five bucks! Anyways, I have a seal from my graduation announcements that have a "K" on it and I thought I'd use that to personalize the thank you cards a bit. Or you could get blank cards at Michael's or something and an L stamp or something like that and personalize it yourself. Dry embossing is a classic look and wouldn't be TOO much work if you were just doing one or two letters on each card. Just some suggestions. Good luck!

My one bridesmaid, ironically the problem causing one, was attacked in the McDonalds down there a few years ago. Apparently she stopped in after work one evening to get a drink for the way home. There was a homeless guy outside who asked for a dollar. She said she didn't have one and walked in. She was in line and all of the suddent felt someone punch her in the back of the head. It knocked her over and when she saw who it was, it was the homeless guy. He said, "Maybe you didn't hear me. I said give me a dollar b1tch!" It took the manager and some other guy to get ahold of the homeless guy.

I told you Market Square is just scary!

Her stuff is really nice Brandy. I might order our wedding thank you cards from there and maybe a set with just my name because I like having nice stationery sitting around.

I love that stationary site. I may be ordering some cards for thank you notes and other misc. notes.

Lacey, I used to walk down to the McDonalds often....yowsers....Now that I think about it, Market Square is kind of creepy in the daylight. I used to go to the Subway once in a while...but it gave me the creeps - I stuck to the one on Wood St.

I did have a lovely (large) gentleman come out of a dark courtyard on the Blvd. of the Allies and say "Hey baby...." when I was walking to the garage one night, alone. Scared the daylights out of me. I never parked there again!

This is why I don't venture any further than than One Oxford Center and the Grant Building. About once a month I meet my girlfriends over in the cultural dustrict, but it is always crowded on those nights.
