Is this Bare Minerials but cheaper....?

Ok.. So I was looking through some of the threads here.. and found this site.

Now ... I love BM. Used it for 4 years now.. But its not always in my price range. But tell me this girls.. if you have looked at BM site and HAVE bought some. I swear they make E.L.F. ( eyes, lips, face)too.

Look at the pics. Its the same stuff I swear. Same type of black lids. Same packaging... But way Cheaper..... 5 bucks!

You get what you pay for. There are a lot of knock of versions of Bare Minerals. I am a recent BM convert, and I can't imagine using anything else. My skin has gotten so much better since I stopped using drugstore makeup.

The main reason that BM is great is because it has no fillers. According to this page (http://www.bareminerals.com/pure+bareMinerals+Starter+Collection+-+Save+70/FREQUENTLY_ASKED_QUESTIONS,default,pg.html)on the BM website, the foundation contains only 5 ingredients:

Titanium Dioxide,Zinc Oxide,Mica,Iron OxideBismuth, Oxychloride


The ELF page (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/mineraling.asp) lists these as the ingredients in their mineral foundation:

Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide Inactive Ingredients: Mica, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Silk Powder, Boron Nitride. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491 77494 77499), Carmine (CI 75470).

I guess for $5 it's worth a try. It is not the same exact product and probably not as high of quality though.

I wear EyesLipsFace mineral makeup and for the 5 dollars that it is, I LOVE IT!!!!

I myself use to wear Bare Minerals too but the price was too much for me. I really love ELFs mineral makeup, in my opinion I think it covers a whole lot better than Bare Minerals as well. So for being 5 bucks its well worth the money!!!!

I also add that when I was using Bare Minerals I would still have break out here and there, but with ELF I have yet to have a break out. So there are more ingredients in ELFs but I find ELF to be waaaayy better!!

I use ELF's mineral concealer and their blush (which I LOVE). Their site had awesome deals. I have not tried their eyeshadows (mineral) but their regular ones are not that good.

PSA: From what I have heard, there is a natural SPF in Bare Minerals that may cause the flash to reflect off of your face. It also reflects the sun, which is why it's an SPF. I'm not sure b/c I don't use it. Most makeup artists recommend a regular matte foundation for the wedding day so you don't look washed out in the face in your photos.

So... TEST TEST TEST your makeup with a camera before the wedding! Doing your own makeup is fantastic, but you must do a trial. :)
