Well it is over and boy am I tired! The wedding went over pretty well considering ... people were freaking out over table clothes being too short and not having enough of them. So I got some flat sheets and some laces material and saved the day ;) I forgot my camera but took some pics with the MOB's camera and she will send me pics in a few days or so. The brides father had a heart attack the night before the wedding, he is ok but missed the ceremony. Then the brides mother suggested she get her step-dad to walk her down the aisle and she got upset. Long story short, I fixed it and we had her grandfather do it ;) Dad got released from the hospital and we stalled the reception so he could at least get in the father/daughter dance.

The little bridal show we did today didn't go as well as we had hoped, we only had 5 brides show when we expected at least 20-30 :( Oh well, I got to bring home food and cake :drool:

Anyway, I will post pictures from the wedding as soon as I can.

Well I am sorry everything didn't go exactly as planned. Thank God the bride's father is okay now! I will keep him in my prayers. Get some rest and have a wonderful week!

Wow!! Thats rough! What is it with Dads lately? My dad has to go in for surgery soon and my DH's dad is in the hospital fighting for his life!! Sorry to hear about that! Glad he could make it to the reception!! Take care!!

WOW What an ordeal for the bride to go thru on her wedding day. She must have been a nervous wreck worrying about her Dad. I bet she was happy to have you there to save the day(a few times by the sounds of it! ;) )

Sorry to hear your bridal show didn't go well. I am sure you know the sayin.....If at first you don't succeed try, try again! Hey at least you got cake. :D

I'm glad to hear that the wedding went well. I can't wait to see the pictures. It is really ashame that hte bride's dad had a heart attack. Sorry to hear about the bridal show. But hey, free cake is always a good thing, right?

The bride and her mother both called me this morning and said Thank You and that they couldn't have made it without me. So that made me feel good. They are going to send me pictures and I will share when I get them.

As for the bridal show, all I can say is mmmmm cake ... eating some now ;)

Wow I can't imagine! A heart attack! Poor Family. It's good that he could make it back for the reception though! Sounds like you were the hero of the day! Way to go! Sorry that the bridal show didn't go as well as planned, but if you want I would happily eat a piece of that cake...... :bbmrgreen:
