Sorry everyone, I know I've been missing from this forum for a while, I'm slowly staring to get back into the swing of things.
Well its been 23 days since the big day. Still everyone is talking about it and I can't help look at pictures almost everyday. Having a destination wedding in Las Vegas was the perfect thing for us. We both love that city and everyone we invited was there. Five days of get togethers was extrememly exhausting, but it was well worth it meeting both sides of the family.
I can't describe in words how the day went. It was certainly I day I can never forget. The day was just perfect!!! From the getting ready in the hotel rooms, to the ceremony, to the reception, then on to dancing. Partying to early in the morning, people we didn't even know just congratulating us.
Everything just went as planned. Everyone just complimented at how I wasn't nervous. We just let the Flamingo Hotel wedding coordinator handle everything. It was the perfect situation for me. The only thing I was disappointed at was that our ceremony went longer than normal, so our time with our photographer was cut short. But it all worked out, a friend of ours who is an amateur photographer, took WAY better pictures than the professional did. And as a gift, he printed all photos for us. The pictures turned out beautifully. Of course, since everyone took pictures and they've slowly been sending it to us, we so far have a little over 300 pictures to look at. AND we're still waiting for more!!!
Marriage life has been wonderful. We decided to take a delayed honeymoon to Hawaii, since my niece will be getting married in June. I am from Hawaii so I can't wait to show my husband my "first home" and show him off to everyone that couldn't be at our wedding.
The only thing I really have to get on is writing thank you notes. LOL I guess I have to get myself motivated once more.
