I am so tired of hearing this word! I have come to loathe it. :purplex:

When it comes to weddings, someone always calls something "tacky." I definitely understand that some things are considered impolite or straight up rude. That's fine. But the word "tacky" is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

This word needs to die. :bblol:

hhahaha your hilarious. i rather like the word when nothing else can really describe a situation. Like inviting people to your bridal shower that are NOT invited to the wedding and then talking about the wedding non stop--- thats tacky

:bblol: Agreed. There are times when it's just the most appropriate word. And it's not quite the same as rude... (it's almost worse in some cases! lol)

I said 'tacky' yesterday, actually. FH and I were discussing how to display our bottled water and he suggested, "Why can't we just put them in coolers with the lids open?"

We're spending $500 on table linens...we aren't sitting open coolers on them. LOL!

My response was, "Because that's tacky. We're not going fishing, we're having a wedding." :bblol:
