Yeah he's right, don't you remember hurricane season last year? If you want to talk about hurricanes I can share with you about it. Oh my gosh I get chills thinking about it. What about Hawaii, they don't get hurricanes.

We went to Hawaii!! It was beautiful and we absolutely loved it!! We are thinking about going back for Christmas this year since there has been so much drama going on with our families and things being so up in the air! No one ever wants to come visit us for Christmas so we are thinking about going away then we don't have to deal with anyone!! lol

Steve hasn't decided where we are going yet. Either the Carrabians for Florida. We are unsure though since it is hurrican season.

We're thinking about Jamaica and going to one of the all-inclusive resorts, probably Sandals.

We ahve no idea if we will even have any money after all is said and done. But...... If we do go any where it wont be far. We are looking at some Bed & Breakfasts on the coast of Maine. Since we are getting married in Maine and the kids will be there with my mom and sister and we would have to go back to get them before heading home again we figured instead of rushing around to catch a flight ( if we did go some where ) we could just a drive a couple of hours and then just relax and enjoy a couple of days alone.

Brian and I are going to spend 2 or 3 days in a little B & B. Its secluded cabins off in the woods and each cabin has its own stock pond, so we might just go finishing!! I think one night we are going over to the casinos since they are going to be maybe 30 minutes away. Im not sure yet.....the B & B is reserved but everyhting else is still up in the air.

Dave's parents are sending us to the Bahamas. I have never been outside the US so this should be fun!

My friend, Amy just got married in Vegas a coupla months ago, and she loved it there!

My DH and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas on our honeymoon. It was nice and we did have a good time, but I don't think we are really crusie people. One funny thing I remember about the cruise, they did this 'Newleywed Game' and we played (got 8 out of 10 Q's right) and at the end the guys came out in their underwear and danced for us ... OMG, I laughed SO hard :bblol: I can't get him to dance for me even in private now ... We have a video of it and we haven't watched it since the honeymoon, I may have to dig it out ;)

OK, sorry back on topic ... a friend of mine went to Hawaii and said it was really nice but that all the food was expensive.

The couple that I helped with their wedding this weekend; they couldn't afford a 'real' honeymoon, or the time off work, so the family just got together to get them a nice suite at a local hotel for 2 nights.

:goodluck: Remember, you can have fun anywhere ... worst case, all you need is a great room ;)

We are going on the Mexican Riviera cruise for a week. I am so excited! We will be doing a money tree in lue of gifts and my FMOL has offered to match us with whatever we raise. We may not get to go right after the wedding, but we will go. I'm OK with that.
