I've been busy with graduation stuff (We officially graduate from college on Sat!) and preparing for our move to Florida, and we also don't have internet at home, so I haven't been able to be around much and I'm missing you all!

BUT I'm posting because Matt and I's 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up 2 weeks from today. I can hardly believe it! I can't believe it has almost been a year.

We are moving out of our apartment May 14th, 2 days after our anniversary (the 12th). So our apartment will be a big boxed mess, and we do not have a lot of money because we are getting ready to be off of work for at least 3-4 weeks and moving 1000+ miles. Sooooo what are your suggestions? I'm thinking about going out for a nice dinner and then coming back to eat our year old cake lol and drink some sparkling grape juice from our wedding (we have a bottle that wasn't opened) and cuddle up watching a movie or something. I had wanted to make dinner, but with moving two days later (to my stay with my parents until our place is ready in Florida, which will be over the summer) I don't think I want to make a mess of dishes.

Also I want to do something with paper, since the first anniversary is paper. I am going to make him a little gift cert. saying he is entitled to an Xbox live subscription, which is a gaming thing. But other than that I dk what else to get him/do. Like I said we won't have a lot of money, but I do have some money I can work with. Maybe like $50. I know some people have bought tickets to events and stuff as the "paper" but we will be moving so I can't really do that for him because we don't know exactly when we are moving to Florida and such.

So ladies, any suggestions? What did you do on your 1 year anniversary, or what do you think you will do if you haven't had it yet. Did you/will you include the paper aspect?

Are you good at cooking? This is my all-time favorite Paula Deen recipe - Paper-Wrapped Anniversary Salmon! It was featured on Paula's Party TV show on the Food Network. :)

EDIT: They left out the red bell pepper in this printing of the recipe - BOO. Don't forget the red bell pepper!

Ooops, I couldn't edit again - the paper-wrapped salmon appeals because it's dish-free! Durr, I remember details good. Sorry!

We went on a cruise for our anniversary week.

But for gifts I got him a book off of his amazon wish list and a card.
He got me a card and diamond earrings :)

Sounds fair right?!?! LOL

Thanks for the suggestions :) And thanks to whoever moved this, I posted it in a hurry and didn't think about what section I was putting it in.
