It will be here before you know it - sit back & relax - enjoy things!! It can all be such a whirlwind when you really think about it. BTW - congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I got married Sept. 22nd, 1995 - the time has flown by! I just love the emotion of weddings - that's why I got into wedding photography!!

Meant to meantion... I kept a online journal during the planning time, and backed it up on a file, so I could look back onto the planning stages. I also have a few pictures from trying on dresses at the bridal store with my mom and maid of honor.

I kept pictures of all my planning stuff. Pictures of different stages of making my dress, making the bouquet, everything! I am going to be putting everything into a scrap book to look back on. My daughter likes looking at the pictures too.

well, I am in the early beginning stages of planning mine & my husband's wedding in our church. (we got married civily do to circumstances, so we figured we'd do the big wedding later & us pay for it to ensure we get what we want) but...yeah.

our HoneyMoon is going to be a Carnival Cruise, but depending on the itenerary of the cruise will depend on the wedding date itself. but it will definatley be in Dec of 2006. I've been scopeing out some of the cruise dates for 2005 & I am assuming it is the same every year. I have noticed that most of the cruises depart on a saturday not on a sunday, so our wedding may have to be on a friday. we don't want to have to wait a week before we can leave. for once in my life I'd like to know how it feels to go on to a honeymoon right after your big day.

but yeah....Dec of 2006. it'll be the first or 2nd weekend.

There is only like 170 something days to our wedding. It is so exciting, the planning is all coming together. I wish you all the best of Luck on and after your Wedding Days!!1 :D

It was supposed to be May 24, 2005. Unfortunately we had an unexpected problem pop up.

I was recently in a car accident. I was walking home from work about 11:00 pm. A car hit me when I was crossing the street and I ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks. I had a spleen injury, a head fracture andthe tibia and fibia of my left leg was broken. I have recovered from the head and spleen injury but the leg had to have a titanium rod inserted. I currently can't walk and have to use a walker to get anywhere.

Because of that, our wedding is delayed indefinately. We are waiting until I get well enough that I can walk without the walker. Likely, the wedding will be delayed until July or August. It really sucks but my recovery has to come first.

Its amazing the meaning things have taken on since the accident.

I honestly no longer care much about the wedding itself. Oh I want my family there and I want to say the vows but I don't care about the dress, the flowers, the music, the food, the cake and the like. I'd be happy going to a courthouse in jeans. It all just seems to completely unimportant in the long run.

Its the people that mean the most. The rest is just... icing.

My wedding date is set for November 11, 2006. It's exactly 655 days 22 hours and 59 minutes. I am very excited and can't wait for the real planning to start. All we've done so far is the hall and the church. But happy planning to everyone out there...

Our wedding date is May 27, 2006. We went with that for 3 reasons. 1) I don't want to be a "June Bride" - no offense June brides. 2) My parents and grandparents we married in May. 3) It was good for our work schedules. I'm a teacher so I can just take my vacation and sick days at the end of the year. What could possibly be cooler than having a susbstitute for your last week and half of school anyway? And, my fiance is a financial analyst. So it wasn't going to be at the end of a busy financial quarter for him.

Now if it would just get here, this planning is just too much work!
