Its Today - Omg

Well it is 8.30 in the morning of my wedding day. I got about 4 hours sleep - I went to bed about 10.30pm but I didn't get to sleep until about 2am. My heart wouldn't allow me to go to sleep - it was beating to loud and felt like it wanted to beat outside my body instead of in. I woke about 6am this morning.
I'm not too nervous at the moment. I'm still in my PJs but will go have my shower soon.
The hair dresser will be here at 10am.

Last night we had the rehearsal at the church which went well. Afterwards, myself, my groom, by brother and his fiance (my bridesmaid), the bestman and his partner, my parents and the grooms dad went out for a nice relaxed meal so that was good.

My groom stayed the night in Gore with the bestman and I'm at my parents place. (which could be another reason why I had trouble sleeping - no one to softly rub my back)

Well ladies (and any gentlemen out there) I best be off to have my shower now.

I would like to say a special thank you to all those that showed me support these last few months leading up to today. We are all strangers and I think the support we show to each other just goes to prove the world isn't such a bad after all.

All day yesterday when i looked at the clock i would try and figure out roughly what time it was in New Zeland and think about if you were at the ceramony, if you were already married, or if you were at the reception!

I thought the same way but suprisingly I had the best nights sleep the night before our wedding! It was so soothing and calming to think that finally tomarrow it would all be done and I would be my DH's wife!! My Dh had problems sleeping but thats because his GM wouldn't shut up in their hotel room! lol. But all in all, I was so tired from running around the previous day that I was ready to go to bed that night!! And hey if that doesn't work, try a sleep aid or some "bed time" tea!!
