It must be a week of good news! FH just called to say he got the job he was been waiting for!!! He doesn't start until the end of April, but that's ok. It is a HUGE pay jump for him, plus this means I will get promoted to the position he is leaving behind at the current job. Now, I'll be able to start my own daycare too (following in Gwen's footsteps!) once we are married and I'm covered under FH's insurance. Plus, the house we are waiting to hear about renting, we will be able to get. We are just waiting to hear what they decide to charge for rent. Wow, a lot of changing coming our way. We are planning on getting a kitten and/or a puppy once we get the house too. Fun fun fun!!

Thats great Hun!! Congrats!! We were waiting on good news about adopting a dog....we got it! We can adopt him right away if we wish!! The only thing is we have to come up with $1500 bucks. $500 for the dog, $400 for getting him here and then like $500 for a kennel and then the rest for things that a dog needs. We're really in a lull right now, trying to figure out what to do!! But its great that everything is working out for you Nikki!! I am so happy for you and your F-DH!!

To answer your question Nikki! We are getting a Malamute!! They are beautiful dogs!! I would post a pic, but I don't have one at the moment! I'll have to see what I can come up with!! What kind of dog are you and your FH thinking about getting?

We are looking into Yorkshire Terriers. Tiny dogs, but are suppose to be great watch dogs. When I called my mom today to tell her about Steve's job she told me that she is getting a kitten and there are two more if I want one. They are free and one is a calico which I have always wanted. So we are thinking about that.

I love those little yorkies! They are good watchdogs. They are protective.
