I had a similar party and MY mother was there! lol...but I figured she's not completely stupid (or even romotely!! lol) I mean we were living together and she new we were trying to have a baby...soooo duh....lol. I did not however invite my MIL to the party (well I sort of did, but luckily she said no!) I couldn't imagine my German MIL,who speaks mostly only German and won't even kiss her husband infront of us, at one of these parties!! For heaven's sake they don't even say "I love you" to my DH over the phone, they never hug (they hug US now that we live so far away and I am a hugger and I'm trying to get them to open up and express their feelings!! I even got my DH to tell his mom he loved her one day! She just laughed but hey, at least he said it!!!!) and they rarely share their feelings! Lol...its the way things are in Germany I suppose! But yeah, we had a lot of fun, and if you're comfortable with having your MIL there, the more power to ya Cindy! Go for it!! :)

I have the same open relationship with my future inlaws that I do with my parents (we say whats on our minds) and since Brian and I are living together too, its kinda a given that we are not celibate. I dont know if shed come or not, but it wouldnt shock me. Now Brian would probably freak.............:bblol:
