Age Gap?

Are you marrying someone older or someone younger than you? Are there more than 3 years difference? How is your family handling it?

My fiance is almost two years older than me, so there isn't much of an age difference.

No, we didn't grow up together. We were quite a few miles away from each other. We met when he came to the town for college. We actually met at FED EX. We worked the 3am shift. He started work there 2 weeks before me and he trained me on how to load the trucks. He was such a sweetheart. He just got out of a horrible relationship and so did I, so I believe that someone was looking out for us and wanted us to meet. :D

My fiance and I have 12 years of an gap. I am 20 and he is 32. At first my family didn't like it but they have warmed up to the idea and have accepted it and actually are excited about the whole wedding.

Well, I'm 21. My fiance is 36. it's 14 years... (cause i'm almost 22, and he just turned 36) But we don't notice the age gap when we're together. (Although I do make fun of him and call him old.)

My fiance and I are not even a year apart I was born in January and his birthday is at the end of September, so not much of a gap at all. But my sister who got married in 2002 is somewhere between 15 to 20 years younger than her husband.

We are a year and a half apart. If there was as much of an age gap as some of these ladies here, my family would have been very angry (not that I blame them).

There is an 18 year age difference in me & my hubby. We met when I was 19 & he was 38 ~ got married the next year & have been married for almost 10 years now! Age is just another number ~ we get along great & have a beautiful little boy who is almost 8 now.

My parents didn't like the difference in age at first ~ once they got to know Frank as a person & not just a # (age) . . . they fell in love with him.

Me and my fiance are close to 4 years apart I am 21 and he is going on 25.

First of all...hello everyone...I'm new to the forum.

My fiance and I are twelve years apart; he's thirty three and I'm twenty one. I have an older brother who is a year older than my fiance, so it gives my family a great idea of the age gap and most of them had a big problem with it. His family doesn't have so much of a problem, although I felt strange when I had to explain what a MIP was to his older sister, just before I turned twenty one.

The thing is, even if our families did have a problem with it, we don't. Together, there isn't a difference to me. We get along so well and we're so close that it doesn't seem like he's twelve minutes older than me. It's true what they say, age is just a number. Although, it is fun to tease him about his age. :D

My fiance and I are 11 years apart. There are actually a few weeks out of the year that he is closer to my mom's age than my own. But, it has never been a problem in our relationship. Nor, have I ever had any problems with my family from it.

Well i am 23 and my fiancee just turned 21. by the time that we are married i will be 25 and he will be 23 there is only 2years age difference but he is much more mature than his age. My parents don't have a problem because my mom was older than my dad and his parents don't seem to mind that he is marrying someone older than him! So really age difference to me doesn't matter and neither does to him.

My fiance is just under 3 years younger then me. We don't notice a difference. Alot of people don't think i am as old as I am.

I was talking to my mother yesterday and she said that she's talked to people who have met my fiance and they can't believe he's 33. I guess it all depends on whose looking...I don't care that he's 12 years older than me and niether does he.

I am 22 and my fiance is getting ready to turn 37 next month. So that's about 15 years. We don't care and both are families were really open with it. We get along great and are so in love, that's all that matters!
