View Full Version : We Got the apartment!!!!!

We got it!!!!!! I so can't wait. The woman who lives there now will be out by April 1st. Then they figure painting and a new carpet in the living room and then we can move it. They said if we want we can send the security deposit now if it makes us feel more sucure but they are not offering it to any one else. It is ours!!!!! I am so excited. We get back to the town we both work in. One of my best friends is there. The kids Nana is there. No more driving for an hour to pick up kids and get home. It is a 3 bedroom with lost of space and they say no pets but are letting us take the apartment with our cats. I am gonna start packing this weekend. I know I have about 4 weeks or so before we move it but if I dont start now with all the little things I will be going crazy.

And my plan is once I am settled I am going to advertise for babysitting. If I can watch atleast 4 kids at $100 each ( alot less the day cares charge ) I will be bringing home about $100 more a week then I am right now and I wont have to pay for my kids to be in daycare. I have about 7 or 8 years of workign in child care behind me. I worked with all ages from newborns to 12 yr olds. I know I can do this and I wont have to deal with my **** job any more.

I am so excited!!!!!

That is great about the apartment. Congratulations! I don't envy you for moving though. Ack! I hate moving.

Yeah! I'm glad you got it. BTW I pay $25.00 per day for private childcare and I find that VERY reasonable.

And my kids will be shipped too. Do you do extended (like a week)day care??? haha

Congratulations!! I know how excited you are! Andrew's moving into his apartment in a week and we were really excited when we finally found it. Packing can be a :censored: . Good idea to get started as soon as possible!

Hey Gwen, I would offer to help you move too, but Im still feeling it from trying to rush and move into our house the weekend before Christmas. I can supervise though....and I have free child labor.

Yay Gwen! I'm so happy for you! I don't have any children to send, but I'll help ya move too! I could use a vacation away from my job!
