For the most part Brian doesnt have an opinion UNLESS I just go ahead and make a decision on something. If I dont ask his opinion....THATS when hes going to have one!!!!

Yep. Cindy, that's what I'm afraid of.. So, I ask, but when he doesn't want to talk about it, so when he changes the subjest, I just give myself permission to do what I want.
I've learned to use his tricks against him. ;)
For instance, he wouldn't give me feedback on the Bouts. So, I asked if he wanted Roses or Orchids (I wanted to do Orchids) and he picked Orchids. With those two options, the Orchids are the 'cooler' choice, and I wanted to incorporate the orchids into the bouts, corsages, and a few here and there in the bouquets.

I flat out asked Brian "If I ask your opinion on something and you either dont answer or blow me off, if I go ahead and decide on it myself, you cant get mad if you dont like my decision, right?" He had to admit that he couldnt! He will actually think about it now before he says "whatever you want Baby"

Sean is really good about helping with the wedding. Aside from my mom he is about the biggest help that I have. There are certain things he would never care about so I don't bother to bring them up. But I gave him a list of what needs done and by what date and he has never missed a deadline yet. Plus if there is something that he disagrees with, he has another option to offer. I never get, "I don't like it." I get, "I don't really like it. Maybe we should look into ......" Heck he picked out and ordered the invitaitons.

My Dh was very involved in our wedding plans!! He picked the reception site, booked the site, set up the meetings with the florist, mainly picked the date, I just had to deal with the fine details!! I had so much fun (and headaches) planning our wedding!! I was working like 40 hour weeks when we first started planning so he was doing a lot of it because he was working for his dad on his farm and had some spare time! It worked very well for us and we are so in tune, we knew exactly what the other person wanted! I really got lucky with my DH, we know each other so well we finish each others sentences a lot of the time! Or we say the same thing at the same time and aren't even on that subject! Its kinda creepy...lol.

Wow. Canadian Bride, that sounds nice. Jen, that sounds good too. Carlo expressed interest in the food and music. The rest he really doesn't care about at all.

Justin pretty much is going to pick his tux and then I'll tell him when and where to show up. He doesn't really care as long as he's married by the end of all this.

Mark is kinda between "He certainly had opinions on most stuff, and took an interest", and "He had opinions on a some things, mainly the stuff that pertained to him."
He definatly is opinionated but then i have done most of the work. I've asked him to do a couple things (which still haven't been done). But if i tell him an idea that he doesen't like he definatly makes it be heard. Some things he's sure whatever you want. and some he has been super exsited about!
I really never know what's going to happen when i say somthng to him.

Jamie has taken an interest and helped choose everything so far, and all the shopping and looking around we have done together. (tho im sure his interest will slacken off after a while lol) xxx

Steve is definatly more excited about planning this wedding then I am. While I keep track of a timeline and how much money is spent, he loves to be searching for ideas and making plans. I am very happy aout that. He has turned into Groomzilla on a few things. The only thing he doesn't deal with are my dress, the BM dress and my mother. He leave that fun stress to me.

Jason will put in his input if I ask...but the way he put in his input the first couple of times made me realize he really doesn't care. He does care about a few things...like his tux, and his groomsmen and the cake...sort of (he didn't go to the cake tasting with me). The biggest problem we have is that he's kind of a hermit, so if it involves going out to get his opinion, I won't get it. :)

:D That sounds just like Brian.....he said "you handle it, just tell me when to show up!"

Yep. Carlo said that "Honey, 95% of this is all you. I couldn't care either way. So, you just do what you want, it's your day. If you need help, let me know, but otherwise, knock yourself out!"

Yeah, but you should hear it when I do just go ahead and handle it. I think while he may not be "invloved" with most of the plans, he still wants to "know" about the plans. Maybe hes scared I will have him in a turquoise polyester suit or something.
