I'm soooo nervous right now!!!
FH and I are waiting for a call to see if he was successful for a job he applied for. First they were suppose to call on the weekend, and now they are suppose to call today. I wish they would call, I'm nervous, excited, anxious, and sick all at once!! AHHHHHH, why can't they call!!!!!!
Sorry, lol, was so nervous I had to write it down somewhere before I explode!

The wait is always the worse ... and no matter how much we try to get busy doing something else ... we just can't get our mind off of it LOL
Other anxious wait times -
waiting for a proposal :)
waiting to get married
waiting to find out / know if you are pregnant
waiting to give birth
waiting while you save for a home
waiting to hear if you got the house

EEEEK! I am waiting for a call also. I received an email for a telephone interview and I responded back with my schedule on Thursday morning and yet no call or email.... :( :(

I think waiting to hear about a job is one of the worst waiting periods. Especially since most companies don't even call you when they say you will. After my interviews for my current job, they told me they would call by a certain date, and didn't. I, of course, got scared that this means they didn't want me. I called a few days later to check up and tell them I was still interested in the position, and they said some stuff had come up, but they would be sure to let me know soon. They called back a few days later to tell me, I got the job.
The point of that story is: don't be too anxious if you don't hear from them right away. It's not always a bad thing. :)

Ugh, and I thought waiting to get married would drive me nuts, lol!
I've tried cleaning, laundry, and I'm about ready to go outside and do some yard work (which FH thinks is great, lol, of course!)
I'm more anxious about it than FH, which somehow makes me more anxious. If he doesn't get the job it's not the end of the world, but with this job we'd be moving closer to my nephews, so my fingers are crossed!
Thanks ladies, I needed a pep talk :)
Grapefruit - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, good luck!
Sweetvenus - Thanks, I have this worse case scenario all plotted out already, and I'm sure that is the biggest reason for my nervousness! Congrats on your job!
Serendipity - eeeek, I want to believe the wedding is the last stressor in my life, haha

Thank you :)
Well I have a small update. One of the other people up for consideration phoned last night and asked when they would hear something. Apparently the company is going to wait and see how many people decline, so when they decline, my FH will know if he gets a job. It really sucks, especially since quite a few of the people that were offered jobs are sitting on their offers in case "something better" comes along. Fh emailed the girl today and asked her if there are any other available positions he could apply for, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed he either gets a different job, or someone finally declines the offer!
