Need your thoughts!!

My FFIL had a stroke last night and is supposedly doing ok, but this will severely limit his travel ability. Our wedding is in SIX days, so please keep him and my FH in your thoughts. Looks like NONE of his family will be able to come to our DW now. I know FH is going to be so upset. I'm at work and haven't gotten to speak much with him about it. Thanks in advance for all your support!!

His mother, father, 2 sisters, brother-in-law and niece were all going to ride together. Now that this happened, none of them are going to be able to come. I understand this but I am SO bummed for FH. I asked him if he wanted to postpone and he said no. I even asked him if he wanted to do it but skip the honeymoon and go home to see his family and he said no, that we needed this time alone together as a couple (I have 2 kids who will be with their dad for a few days after the wedding). So it's still on but it won't be the family event he wanted after all. He says the important thing is that I and my children, who are his new family, will be there. Anyway, sorry this was so long. Thanks for being concerned (AND reading all this!).

Do you have someone videotaping the wedding? If not, you could rent a video camera, copy the tape and send them a copy as soon as possible after the wedding...

Wow, that's such a sad thing and such unfortunate timing. I think the video idea is wonderful though. I hope things work out the best that they possibly can.
