Thanks! That is so helpful... I was afraid making boutonnieres would be too hard, but it looks really easy on there! My biggest worry is getting flowers to make all my own floral arrangements and keeping them fresh.

Be sure to check out this thread too! For boutineers, just leave off the ribbon!

That is also really helpful! Thanks so much!
My rehearsal is going to be in the morning so I can spend the afternoon of that day making flowers with my BMs until the rehearsal dinner. Has anyone else done this? I'm sure I should do a dry run first to see how much time it will take me.

Why spend your wedding day arranging flowers?
order fresh cut flowers from a local grower. You can buy buckets of flowers for a great price! Flowers can be arranged several days in advance and will last well past your special day if kept in a cool area, away fromheat sources or wind (basement, corner of garage, back room) Be sure to keep flowers in clean containers before and after arranging. If you have access to a refrigerator , that will be even better. If your wedding is at a party center, often they can store them for you and then place then on tables etc.
Good Luck

I did this for my cousin's wedding in October - we ordered gerbera daisies from a couple sources online (Sam's Club had the most beautiful, well-packed/shipped flowers!), and we made a massive bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid ones, about 25 boutonnieres/corsages, and a half-dozen altar/table arrangements. If we hadn't run short of time, we probably could have made another dozen arrangements!
I would definitely suggest a practice run or two, and as many helpful hands as possible! Based on my practice run, I figured I'd need 10 minutes per corsage - and unfortunately, that turned out to be right, about 4 hours, even with 4 people helping! We wired each piece (flower, baby's breath, fern, and tulle "bow") then taped each piece, the taped them all together and bagged them up. I started around 2 pm, expecting to be done before the rehearsal at 5 (given that I had 2 helpers) - we ended up coming back after dinner and spending another hour and a half to finish the corsages!
They turned out well, and I'm planning to do the same for my own wedding in May... but definitely leave plenty of time!
