My friend Lynda is totally cool. She is the type of person who can pick out the best stuff. The picture you see above was a photograph of a wedding cake that she wanted for her wedding.

I don't know where Lynda got the photo, but it looks pretty neat and with her colors and flowers it was going to be a smash hit. As complex as the pattern looks at first, when you really think about it, it is just a serious of straight ribbons laced together. I think the design is great.

Unfortunately, Lynda didn't consider that her baker might make some promises that she couldn't keep. In fact, it seems like Lynda's baker was more interested in Rum Cake than Wedding cake. Click on the small picture to see what Lynda's actual cake ended up looking like. This photo is from her ACTUAL reception. This pile of cake had to sit in front everyone during the reception. Lynda spent the first year of her marriage in the courtroom suing a drunk baker. Ouch.

Oh my Lord, I feel so sorry for the woman with that horrible cake! I would be so pissed if my baker did that!! (I guess that shows to always be careful who you hire!)

It seriously looks like it melted. My first reaction was 'awww their cake melted' but then i saw that the piping on the bottem wasn't melted.

Can you believe the half dressed bride? Did her dress just rip or what? I hope it ripped because anyone who would get married looking like a homeless stripper is out of their mind. Oh and the cake, they should have hired me! I could have done that same cake for a lot less I'm sure. Or better yet they should have hired some children from a local school. I'm sure their finger painting experience would provide the ability to make a cake that equals that one. LOL! Poor girl.

Where did you get the picture of the hello kitty dress? I think the hello kitty dress is cute. It is original and very creative. Oh and I love the startrek theme wedding. That is to cool:cool: I am a star trek fan and I like those conventions and stuff. The cake is pretty but not the other cake. No comment about creative new and improved maxis.

I cant believe they would even put that cake out!!!! For crying out loud, even if I'd spent every dime I had already Id find a way to pick up something at the local grocery store. ANYTHING would be better than that nightmare!!!:censored:
