how did you guys go about selling them?!?!?! i don't really wanna go through ebay. it's kind of a headache. the dress is taking too much space in the closet arrrrgh! go away dress!

i've already tried craigslist too and no responses....it was a deal too! $250... or something like that

Ebay was all I could think of. I don't ever sell things lol. Actually, are there any consignment shops in your area? Also, if you don't mind my asking, what size is the dress?

its a sz 6 but has been hemmed. i think the dress runs small because i'm usually a size 5ish and the 6 surprisingly fit me -not too snug and not too loose. it was manageable so i would suggest the dress to someone who is around a sz 5 unless someone wants to alter it.

I bought mine from a bridal consignment shop and I may take it back to sell it there as well. It's so not a headache because you drop it off there, name your price, and when they have an interested buyer they call you to make sure that the deal is okay with you. You don't get any money until after they actually sell it. They do keep a small percentage of the profit, but they also do all of the work.

Even if there isn't a bridal consignment shop in your area, they also do the same sort of thing at high end resale shops.

What about just regular advertisments in community papers, we have two here: 1) is called the Thrifty Nickel, they charge to ad in it but its free to the public, Then there is The Shopper, its free to advertise but cost 75cents to purchase. Maybe ya'll have something like these in your area?
