View Full Version : GGRRRRrrr table/chair cover issues!!!

One of the things that I decided to spend money on was satin table covers and satin chair covers. Well I go them in Monday and she sent me 10 satin table clothes (should have been 20) and 150 POLYESTER chair covers .. still missing 10 table clothes and all the pink sashes!!!!


I was soooo mad. I called her and of course was really nice... let her know that I only received 10 table covers and no sashes... she immediately said there is another box on the way. I figured this was not true because I got this package on Monday but they tried to deliver it Friday... so that means that she would of had to sent the package out two days later. Anyways... so then I told her the chair covers were polyester and she says to me, "Yeah I thought that was weird that you wanted polyester chair covers with satin sashes and table covers." ..Ggggrrrrrrrrrrrr

I told her that is because that is not what I wanted. She states to me... that is what you ordered. I told her no.. plus reminded that I spoke with her on three occasions and each time we stated what I was ordering... SATIN. Plus when I first started communicating with her through email... all that was ever spoken about was satin... in my very first email to her I let her know that I wanted satin!!!!! Unfortunately these emails were done through Ebay and now that the 90 days has passed I can't access them!!! grrrr again.

So then she goes on to state again that it was what I requested and that she was looking at my contract... I asked her to read something to me that I know I wrote on the contract in my hand writing... then she says, "Oh well I will have to go and pull it ... I don't have it right in front of me." GGRRRRRRRRRRrrr then how do you know what I orderd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So reguardless she is going to keep telling me it is my fault.

So then she goes on to say that I have to check Polyester or Satin... I told her that nowhere on there does it give you the option to do that. (this is why I specifically spoke with her about it several times). She says... ohh well thats the old contract. I told her that it is the contract that was on her website and duuuuhhh its the one she told me to fill out...she sent me the link.

Anyways... so then she just kept on going around the obvious. I advised her that if she received an old contract that she knows is no good then she obviously should have advised me it was outdated and request for me to fill in the new contract or at least call me. DDUUUUUUUUuuhhh again. Instead she went ahead and ordered what she did by guessing (because neither was checked because it did not ask) You simply check off on the chair cover you want.. in my case it was the "banquet chair cover". Soooo she decided without knowing... not only that she knew everything else was satin.


Sooo... I asked her what can we do to fix this.... She says, "Nothing, we are booked solid until September". This leads me to believe that she sent me polyester because she did not have satin available.

OK .. ok.. So at this point of course I am mad. I did not want to be rude because I was still missing 10 table clothes and all 150 sashes. I asked for a tracking # on the other package...she said she would call me back with it. So ... later that day she did... I look and she dropped the package off that day... so they did forget to send my package and it was never "on its way". Then she calls and ask again how many table covers I got... told her again 10 then she states... well we have now sent you 30... basically saying that she sent 20 originally. I guess she wants me to pull them out my a$$. I hung up on her after telling her again..that there were only 10.

Good news is that I just got the other package and I have my satin sashes and table clothes but at this point I have had to go and rent polyester table clothes from a local vendor and I am sending these satin ones back. I refuse to use satin table clothes with polyester chair covers it looks bad and is very noticeable. Not to mention I paid for SATIN!!!!

She refuses to give in any way or admit fault so I have no choice but to dispute the charge (which I did yesterday) and I am mailing the table covers tomorrow. I will be using the chair covers so I will pay her for those but I am getting my 400.00 back from the table covers. I have to dispute the whole charge so I am going to send her another payment for the chair covers. I have closed my credit card because I do not trust this woman. Now the only thing is that I dont have satin like I wanted but it will still look really nice... main thing is that it will match again!!!


Just had to vent... thanks for letting me :purplex:

That just totally sucks. I wouldn't send her a payment for the chair covers just yet - I'd wait until it's all sorted out.

OOhhh.. Oh yeah... I am going to wait until I get refunded. But I just don't want and not pay her for what I do use... even though because I dont have the satin I still think it is unfair. But life is unfair right :)

You mentioned something about ebay... so when it's all settled, if indeed you used ebay, be sure to leave honest feedback! Sellers live or die with good or bad feedback!

thats why im so scared to start buying stuff off the internet but at least it will look nice and matched!

That sucks! I can't believe that she was so rude to you! BUT you day is going to be beautiful, and no one, not even that lady, can take that away from you!I'll be thinking about you tmrw!
