I have never had super bad acne, but my big problem is that I've always had blackheads all over my nose and in the crease in my chin, and it's gross. I've tried all sorts of astringents and whatnot and nothing works. Cosmo (I'm a loyal reader lol) said that this Neutrogena stuff is supposed to clear that all away within like a month. It's a facial peel that over like 8 or 12 weeks is supposed to have the same results as a spa chemical peel. I'm skeptical, but for the 22 bucks I paid for it it better work. I'm only on my second application... has anyone else tried this? I figure if it works I'll try it again before the wedding.

Oh, I tried that for the same thing! I wish I didn't spend so much on it. It did not work for me.

The biggest thing that helps with my blackheads are regular exfoliation (I use the Clean and Clear Morning Burst cleanser that has exfoliating beads in it) and those Biore strips. They really work for me, but everybody's skin is different!

Well, I'm on my third week and not much has changed. I can feel a difference on my skin right after I use it, but after a day or two its the same. No major blackhead help yet. I'm starting to think I wasted 20 bucks, but the package says 8-12 weeks so maybe I'm being too quick to judge.

So, it's been awhile since I started using this, and here is what I think. It is definitely NOT the same as getting a chemical peel, but there is a small improvement. My chin is a lot clearer than it was, and my nose is a bit better, but probably only noticeable to me. I've only had one actual pimple since I've been doing this, but I've never really been prone to acne so I don't know how much of that was from the facial peel stuff. It makes your face feel really soft and smooth after you use it, which is nice... but really, for the 20 bucks I spent I think I'd rather buy a 5 or 10 dollar face wash and a really great concealer!

Hmmm.. I've been considering getting this, or ordering ProActiv. I'm not breaking out HORRIBLY, but enough that it's bothering me, and I want to make sure my skin is perfect before the wedding. And like you, I get tiny little blackheads on my nose. So I'm thinking maybe I'll go with the ProActiv then!
