I am going to attempt putting on fake eyelashes tomorrow... never done it before. Any tips?

yes... take your time first of all...
when you put them on, do them in single lashes if possible... (it is a lot harder to use those entire strips off lashes)
start at the inside of your eye, closest to your nose, and pull the eyelid out to smooth the skin...
then again, take your time...

I wish I had tips for you, I have tried both the long strip and the single lashes and have had no luck... I have no skills.

Good luck!

I have used them several times and loved them, especially if you have small lashes like mine.

I find it's easier to put them on if you use regular tweezers, and not those plastic ones they give you in the pack. I use the long strips. put a small line of glue along the lashes then take the tweezers and start pushing them on, closest to your nose first.

My two tips were already said... tweezers and take your time. Also, when you put the glue on the lashes, wait a minute before trying to stick it on. You want the glue to be a little tacky when you stick it on you eyelid. If you do it too soon it will move around.

Also... do you think you loose your lashes when using fake ones???

I do mine alittle different. I find it to be easyer than th other ways. I use the long stips and hold it with tweezers BUT i hold it so that the curl is facing up and I put the glue on the lastes on the top of the spot that will go closest to your skin. I let it dry until tacky and almost all dry THEN I put them on the inside at the very stat of the lasts where they come out of the skin. So hold your eyelid open and put in inide. I know it sounds gross but I have done pageants all my life and thois is how they always have done it because it pulls your eye open and doesnt weigh it down. Hope this helps

You shouldn't lose your real lashes... maybe one or two, but that's pretty normal. When you go to take them off, wet them with warm water, it will soften the glue. Then just pull carefully. The fake ones will come right off. If you pull hard, then you might yank out some of your real lashes.

I second this answer! When I was younger I danced (ballet, jazz, etc ~~not on a pole, ha ha) We would always use the long strips in this manner for competitons and performances!
