We are renting a small one for the wedding I am helping with next weekend. We have strawberries, marshmallows, gram crackers and pretzels for dipping  I just want to stick my finger in it ;)
What did you want to know about it? Can't decide if you want one? I don't think this is a wedding necessity by any means but it is nice if you can afford a little extra to rent it. I think you can even buy smaller ones at places like Sam's and BJ's.

Great. Since you are in the area, who are you using?

I'm having my reception at ST. Florian Hall in Wintersville Ohio, and the caterer who does all the events at the hall has one to use for $250 which is not bad considering the run like$300-400.

I got ours from St. Moritz Chocolate at One Oxford Center. They actually charged $10 a person. But my site coordinator and I found a fountain that offered everything they had for only $500. So they are now matching that price for events at our venue. Thank Heavens too. I couldn't have afforded $2000 for a chocolate fountain. That is three hours of service, two attendents, skewers, napkins, 6 dipping items.

That is quite expensive, I love bargins..... I have actually gotten alot of bargins shopping around... The programs for the wedding I got 200 for $30. They are really cute too. I will try to post a link to the ones I bought.

We were going to do it, but I just kept imagining the mess it was going to cause.
Instead we are having a crepes suzette station and a banana flambe station.

Im wanting some chocolate dipped stuff, like strawberries and bananaa, etc. but the mess factor has me considering having them served already dipped!

I would love to do something like that, but my fh is a junk food Nazi. He still teases me about eating what he considers to be too much birthday cake last year! If I had a chocalate fountain he would just die! Maybe I should do it and not tell him just to see his face!

Send him to our reception then. We have the chocolate fountain and the wedding cake PLUS my mom is doing an entire display of her homemade cookies. People always ask what I am giving as favors and I tell them, insulin injections.
