This can be birthday cards, anniversary cards, get well cards, etc ...

How many would you say you buy/give out in say, a six month period?

I am gonna say 1-4; sometimes it is more, but on average I'd say that is a good estimate for me.

I used to send cards all the time, but don't as much anymore. I want to try to get back into sending cards again, even if it is just ecards, to let people know I am thinking of them.

Since I keep track of FH's family and mine I probably give out 6 or more in a 6 month period. Someone is always having a birthday or baby or wedding or something. Actually need to send out two this week. Engagement and birthday.

I got an anniversary card for DH today and a get well card for my mom. Then I was thinking that I have a friend's birthday coming soon and another friend's anniversary then Mothers Day and Fathers Day is coming up in a couple months.

I used to send cards more than I do now. I'm way more likely to buy FH a just-because-I-love-you card more than anything else.

I said 5-6. I usually send them to my grandma for holidays including like, halloween and v-day, then I give FH one or two and sometimes my mom. Occasionally someone else will slip in there, but for the most part I don't give out cards. No one sends them back or even seems to appreciate the gesture, and I just don't like it. I guess that is kind of a selfish way to look at it, but I just feel like manners have gone down the toilet.

I said 1-4, but now that I think about it, it maybe more. I try and send one to Doug's grandma every once in a while cause she lives alone, and there isn't family by her.

Plus next month is mothers day, my twins neice/nephew b-day (double whammy) then my mom's b-day and nephew b-day.

I do REAL cards for holidays for people in the area, the OOT people I do Ecards! I love Ecards! The real cards I get at the dollar store 2 for a dollar!!! :)

Mom buys cards from the dollar store, Steve and i slap our names under moms. :D
