On an earlier post I was talking with one of the girls about the difference in heat in Canada and Texas. Then I got to just wondering what the temp. is in all of your towns right now. Here, it is in 70's right now, but get this, we had a weak cold front come through! The whole week it has been in the 80's. This whole winter has been super mild, even for Texas! It's been in the 70's for most of it. I think the high has been in the 40's once or twice this whole winter. What about you guys?

Its not 68 and sunny......no wind and the air is so dry that it feels so much warmer than that. At lunch there was a slight breeze and it felt really good. Apparently we arent getting the rain we were told we were supposed to get.

Okay, they said it was supposed to be in the 70's today, but I guess the little cold front didn't come through because when I drove by the bank where they say the temp it was 83. It feels pretty warm outside especially when you are standing in the sun and there's no wind here at all right now. It's pretty though! On the weather last night I heard that yesterday some places in Texas hit 90 degrees. I think this summer is going to be long, hot, and miserable.

Right now it is 50 degrees out ... earlier today it was 68, it was nice. I hate the cold weather. Spring and fall are my fav times of the year.

I would love to live some place where the days were about 70-80 and the nights never got much below 60, all year around. Ahhhh, that would be nice ... I love the beach too, I am thinking maybe some place in central Florida.

Ok, well back to reality ... for now at least ;)

Today when I headed out to work at about 7 this morning it was only about 12 degrees. But the wind made it much much colder. By lunch time it was about 21 degrees but still very windy. THis is warm compared to what it has been like. It has been about 2 degrees some mornings as I headed out. Again the wind made it ALOT colder. This is the coldest it has been all year here.

We had freezing rain yesterday. Then today it warmed up to about 30 degrees. tonight it is supposed to get to 10 degrees. I would love something tropical. Maybe a Mai Tai, or a Pina Colada

I like fall the best if we have fall weather. Usually we go from summer to sometime in November it getting colder. There's not much of a fall here usually. I would love to see the fall like in New England. I've seen pictures, but I have never been there at that time of year. I would like to live in a place with more distinct seasons or maybe even just not the horrible summers. It gets so hot here you feel like you're frying when you just go check the mail in about August.

It started snowing non stop yesterday afternoon. Friends came over about 9 last night and when they left at midnight you couldn't even see their tracks from where they drove in. This morning I couldn't open the door there was so much snow. I would say we got about 2 feet at least! :bbeek:

Simba(our dog) is lovin it. It is really fluffy snow so she can run easily through it. The geese were pretty funny too. They looked like snow plows. They waddled to their pool and haven't come out since. Must be nice!! LOL!

You all keep your snow away from me ;) I am shivering just thinking about it. My mom Loves the snow, I hate it *burrrrr* The only good things (IMO) about the cold are hot chocolate and snuggling ;)

It is sunny and about 50 here today; chilly, but not too bad

Now that I don't have to drive everyday in it, I like it too.

We are already planning our next sliding party for next friday night. It is close to a full moon and we'll have a huge bomb fire. I can't wait it will be a blast. I figure theres nothing we can do about the snow we all might as well enjoy it.

The first time I had a sliding party everyone thought I was nuts but now guess who is begging me to have another one. LOL!!

Hey you all want to come? :bblol:

I was begining to think we were lucking out and having a warm winter. (The adverage temps had been about 40F here in the mountains of Northeastern PA.) But the past 2-3 weeks we have been stuck in the cold. Today it was a high of 27F. 2 days ago we were in the teens with heavy winds making it feel in the negative. We got about 6 inches of snow. I love snow and wish we would get more. I just would like to have a couple feet of snow in 50 degree weather and not have to work for it! I love the heat though. I love the summer when there is a pool around. Other wise, I"ll take early fall or late spring!

We have done that here too in Southwestern PA. We get a week of days that are really mild for this time of year then that is followed by a few days of bitter cold.

When I was growing up we had ALOT more snow. ( I grew up in Maine ) and I can remmeber my mom talking about how much MORE snow they used to get when they were kids. And now we are lucky to even have a foot on the ground at one time. I remember digging tunnels in snow banks and having to almost dig yoruslef out of the house to go to school. My mom said they had to dig tunnels to the bus stop. Where has it all gone to. From the looks of it we are going to be having Floridas weather in a few years and maybe they will be getting the snow. Hey ya never know with the ways things have been happening in the weather lately.

You know in Christmas of 04 right in here in south east Texas we got a several inches of snow. I know that's not much to most of you who live up North, but to even see snow here is weird. I lived here my whole life and I've seen snow here 3 times maybe. We get ice probably once a year. I have been to places where it snows more and I've been snow sking in New Mexico. I think it's really pretty, but I have no concept of what it is like to live with it.

The last time it snowed bad here was a few years ago ... around this time of year too. We had a bad store and everything iced over last winter. We had a tree fall over in our back yard, luckily it was a smaller one. I am glad I had my car in the garage that day though, it fell right were I usually have my car ;)

It is mild here today, about 60 and partly cloudy. Suppose to be high about 67, and low about 50. Not bad but could be better. When we were in Orlando a couple of weeks ago it was in the 70's with a lows in the 50's, that was much nicer IMO ;)

I have an idea, lets just take a road trip to the beach!

We got home late last night from being away for about five days...and all our snow is melted this morning!! It almost makes me sad, espicially since I live in a new neighborhood and now have to stare at everyone's "dirt" lawns because not many of us have had the chance to lay any sod!! The snow really doesn't do anything to our grass Hun...except in the spring when it melts, it waters it to make it green again! Lol. The grass dies and turns brown long before the snow falls onto it!!

It rained all day today. The fog and mist on the highway tonight when i was going home was terrible. I was a bit scared for a bit that some jerk and his mini van would knock into me as he went whipping arround me.
They are calling for rain for the next couple days. But we might have a flash freeze tommorrow so it could mean i'm not picking up mark tommorrow night. :bbcry:
