We have a big environmentalist working at my office, and he sends out emails all the time informing us of how to have a better world. Here is the one from today:

in their branded paper cups. Just now, hundreds of people
are leaving the coffee shops and disposing of their cups in
the garbage where they will never decompose because of their
synthetic polymer lining to prevent leakage. Just imagine how
many cups end up in the garbage every year.
If you purchase just 5 cups of coffee per week, that's 20 cups
disposed of per month. That's 260 per year @ 1oz. per cup.

I have heard the one about the pig. My friend sent it to me. She said the same thing as you Gwen about wanting to come back as one. LOL! No wonder pigs always seem to be smiling. :bbmrgreen:

Starbucks gives a discount when you bring your own mug. Check it out! I have cloth gorcery bags that I bring to the store to cut down on the waste that is created by plastic bags.

Yeah, Pigs are very smart, loving creatures. They're not treated very well, though, when they're raised for food.. So please, if you can, buy organic free range meat. Find a local butcher that gets his meat from a family farm, or request organic meats in your local gorcery store.

I love that list Gwen!!! I printed it out to show some of the guys at work. I highlighted the passing gas one. We work in a very small room with very poor ventilation. When in that envirment, men should not be eating mexican!! Maybe if I show them that, I could get them to slow it down before they kills us!!! lol
