Matt and I are buy our first ever new car tomorrow. It is the first time we will be buying a car together as a couple, but also neither of us have ever owned our own new car before. We are getting a decent deal too (we had my dad help us out on getting a deal since he has bought cars before). I was just reading online about someone who paid about $16,000 for theirs. Well after taxes we are only paying $15,018 total. They wanted $15,800 before taxes at first and we talked them down to $14,200 before taxes. My mom saw a USED one with 14k miles on it going for $14,900 before taxes... so I'd say we are getting a decent deal :)
Anyways it is a Toyota Yaris 4-door Sedan. We looked into it because my dad has a 2 door Yaris Hatchback (actually called a 3 door) and he loves it. They get 35 mpg, and a lot of people so they can actually get 40mpg. We are getting it in Nautical Blue. We will be picking it up around 5pm tomorrow!
