So I have made up my mind and I am now looking for a job in Houston

Good points = I will be living with FH

Bad points = I hate Hate HATE looking for a job.

:petrified:

We have just finished my resume, a task in its self. Now comes the applications, interviews, and begging.

Trying to get all this done 90 miles away, sucks! I dont even want to think about the time I am going to have to take off of this job to get a new job.:bbeek:

Grrr, cant a high paying, low work, fabulous job just fall in my lap....

A girl can hope:chair:, pray for me!

Good luck! I hope you find something you enjoy! I've been on the hunt for a second job for about 5 months... my hours are too limited :(

I'll pray that you find something that you can do and not dread!

I hate job hunting too. Before I got my current job, I was living about 170 miles away and I did some phone interviews, then they brought me in for an in-person interview if that went well, so I didn't have to waste time asking off work to go to interviews. Maybe they will arrange something like this for you too. Good luck!

I hate looking for a job. There is nothing really around here that interests me. What is it you're looking for? I have a friend who's been looking for a job for a couple months now, she said at this point, she'll take anything! Lol. Gook luck I hope you find the perfect job ASAP!

Good luck! DH and I are also in the process of looking for a job (Post graduation work). If you haven't seen my thread, we had a job interview 17 hours away (each way) this weekend. So I feel your pain of the time you have to take off work. In the end though I hope it is worth it, just like I hope it is worth it for you. I hope you find an amazing job and that it isn't too stressful for you. If you start getting stressed feel free to PM me and we can be stressed about job hunting together :)

Right now I am kinda open, I have always had a secretarial type of job, I do have a little bit of a nitch with what I do now, but I dont know that this is the field I would want to stay in, So for now I am just looking for anything that strikes my fancy.

Ohh job hunting is SO frusturating!! I quit my last job around valentines day and I am just now going in today to fill out paper work and get trained in:purplex: My situation is a little different since I was only looking for a waitress job...but you will find one soon enough! I just hate the thought of something new and change!

I too, am sort of looking for a new job (Employer can't figure out that a week of vacation time earned at the END OF THE YEAR, does nothing for me especially while planning a wedding..AGHH). I've always had a secretary job, but I'm with you as far as looking for something different. Best of luck!!
