I've decided on my centerpieces....finally. I'm going to use one or two tall pillar candles in the center and then surround them with the candle favors and fake leaves. Where can I get the best price on unscented pillar candles?? I'd like to use ivory or other fall colors. I'd need about 15 if I am doing one per table. I am horrrible searching for things on the internet, but I know you guys can find anything and are great bargin hunters. Thanks for the help!

Well, since your wedding is not until October, you have plenty of time to hit up the sales. I'm not sure what may be near you but there is a place called the Glass Barn that you would never think had candles but it has everything. They have some great deals. You should try flea markets too. There are tons of different shops in flea markets and I have seen candles and trinkets that are still in packages that look like they came from Michael's or a Candle store. You can even look at your local grocery store. I know that Kroger has Candle-lite candles and they go on sale at least every two months. Right now they have 20oz scented jar candles for only $1.99 the Vanilla smells great and they're ivory too!

Check Hobby Lobby, they put their stuff on sale all the time. Since you are having a fall wedding you have got to check out this site that I'll put a link to below. They have great stuff for all kinds of themes. The one item that really came to mind when I read your thread was silk leaf petals. My flower girls are going to throw snowflake petals instead of flower petals and I bought them from that site. They are beautiful, even more beautiful than the picture. They are also cheap! I have glanced at the fall stuff and they have leaf petals. If you're not interested you should check out the other stuff on the site too! It's great!

To be honest check places like Family Dollar or Dollar General. They always have stuff like that you just have to keep checking back since their stock is always changing.

Lacey, that's a great idea! I'll definatlly check that out.
Stacey, I love that site!! I am ordering my votives and candles from there. Getting the 72 votive/candle set for like $36 that they advertise. I saw they had the white pillars, but I'd like a little color since I'll have white candles in the votives. Thanks for the idea though!

The dollar store will probably be the cheapest place to get them. But make sure if you go that route to do a trail with one. I have gotten candles at the dollar store and the side gives out after a little while and then you have a mess.

I will look around to see if I can find some on the internet for you.

Ok, I don't remember how much they are, but I know Target sells two or three packs of pillars (white or ivory) for a decent amount and if they're anything like their floating candles...they'll be great! We got a box of floating candles to do a trial run and the candle burned for 5 hours! Just a little floating candle! I was really impressed because they're only like $5 for a dozen floating candles.
