I think we have nixed the dancing thing, but when we were planning to do it (and if we do) ours is going to be Rascal Flats "Bless the Broken Road"

We had "At Last" by Etta James I love Etta James and I had never heard it at a wedding before. Now I hear it all the time and now it's the theme song for a cat food commercial!

Aerosmith "dont wanna miss a thing"
I LOVE THAT SONG  That was gonna be our song if we had done the formal reception. I like Aeromsith too ... I had such a crush on Joe Perry back in the day ;)
We had "At Last" by Etta James I love Etta James and I had never heard it at a wedding before.
I have seen this at weddings many times ... I get chills everytime the first part, not sure why ;)

We are using "All I Want is You". Well I am using it. Sean doesn't know it yet. But I think it is a darn fabulous and sexy sounding song.

Ohhh i love 'Don't wanna miss a thing'. Good choice.
We haven't thought about music too much yet. We are going to sit down and discuss everything soon with the musicians for the ceramony (who happends to be Marks boss) so they may have some suggestions for first dance and parent child dances.

I love both of those, tough choice.
To be honest, we haven't chosen ours. We love Bon Jovi's "You had me from Hello", but it's not wedding song'ish. Although it really means something to us.
With only 5 weeks to go, I'm worrying about not having a song picked out... Maybe this thread will help.

is "I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith....
I am not really sure who wrote it to begin with, the Aerosmith version is on the Armageddon soundtrack. There were several Aerosmith songs on the movie soundtrack ... I still haven't seen the movie all the way through. Mark Chesnutt did a version of the song too ;)

duno if you have heard of glamour model Jordan and her hubby pop star Peter Andre but they recorded their own version of "A whole new world" from Aladin for their celebrity packed wedding last year.
Think we are guna have something by the Backstreet Boys, I like "I'll never break your heart"

I'm not very good with Daddy songs...but if I could have one I would pick either "Wonderful Tonight" or "Because You Loved Me." Maybe I'm off, but they seem like Daddy type songs without being total tear jerkers.
We're using "All The Way" the duet version between Celine Dion and post-mortem Frank Sinatra. My FH's car broke down, so he's been driving me to work and picking me up lately and yesterday, when he picked me up, he had our song playing in the car and we sang it together on the drive home...we're such dorks!
We were thinking "The Day Before You" by Rascal Flatts, but I really wanted a duet, so we're going to use this as our last dance song (and I keep thinking it's going to replace "From This Moment" in our ceremony...I have to talk it over with FH first though).

I love "Because You Loved Me" (but I like it sang by someone other than Celine Dion :p) And sometimes it makes me cry ;)
