Well, I met my DH at a shoe store I worked at ;) But, my sister met her FH online in a chat room.

I met my now DH online. We were on a dating site, we emailed and talked over msn messenger then we spent about 48 hours (in about eight to then hour bursts) on the phone in three or four days, met on New Years 2004 and have been inseperable ever since! It wasn't love at first site, quite the opposite actually, we both expected different people, but there was something there we could not deny!! Flash forward two years and here we are, happily married and loving each other more then life itself!!

We met through the 'net, both used a chat room and thought we didnt actually chat that much to each other int here we both turned up to a night out and just sortta clicked!! ;) We were friends for a long time before we actually got together though and have been inseparable since! xxx

Technically I met Brian online, BUT about 3 weeks into dating I found out he grew up outside of Dallas with my older half brothers when they were living with their Mom. The yougest of my 2 brothers, Shane and Brian where childhood best friends.......how cool is that? They had lost contact when my brothers moved in with our dad and my mom and they didnt talk to each other for 20 years, but because of our relationship they were able to reconnect and rekindle their friendship!!

I met my FH through a guy that I met online. My mom had signed me up for an online dating site. (Apparently she thought there was something wrong with me because I was 21 and not engaged or married yet.) I ended up meeting one guy on there. We became friends and he introduced me to my FH.

My sister talked to a guy online before, she almost went to meet him. They talked for like 3 months and sent pics back and forth. But I met my FH in High School. Funny thing, we hated each other back then. We learned to deal with each other when I started dating one of his friends. It didn't work out with him but the more time Eric and I spent together, the more we couldn't stand being away from each other!

Nope, I've never dated a guy I met on-line and Justin has never even been in a chat room in this life! We met in high school, but did not start dating until college. But I did meet a really good female friend of mine on-line. She was new in town and some friends of mine met up with her at a club and that was 4 years ago.

I met Bill(fh) on yahoo peronals, he had just got home from Iraq but was still in Fort Dixe NJ waiting on the final papers to come home here to Ohio. We went on our first date Jan 10,2004 became inseperable ever since got engaged christmas of 2005 and will become husband and wife Sept. 9, 2006...

I met my Fh on line. We were both members of a quiz room. We were friends for a long time before ever hookign up. I was with another guy for a whle off and on on line. Once FH and I finaly hooked up the distnace thing took it's toll. After 7 months I broke it off only to come crawling back to him a year later. I knew he was the one for me and it took me a year to come around. He was not over me in the least and still madly in love with me. He was 13 hours away and moved here to be with me and my 2 kids within 2 months of us getting back together. It has been a year since he has been here and we ill be married in June. He is the man I am supposed to be with.

I also met 2 of my best friends on line in that same room. One is in Ohio and one is in Australia. This is a picture of the 4 of us. We were al together for a day and a half this past summer.

Gwen was this summer the first time you got to meet your two friends? That is awesome that the one from Australia was able to come! Thats a long flight!!:D Looks like you all had a blast!

I met my FH online...we were playing a MMORPG and met on there. We talked and played together for quite awhile. We ran into some problems on the game so I sent him my number and told him to call me because I didn't want to loose a good friend because of a silly game. Well, he called, and we talked for HOURS and HOURS and HOURS! He helped me through my break up with my then-boyfriend...also an online meeting (but a disastrous one). If you saw the crossword Carrie put up...I'm the one who met my FH in a Galaxy far, far away (we were playing a Star Wars based game). To top it all off, our recessional is the main theme of Star Wars! :)

Becky, this was not the first time I met them but the first time the 3 of them all met each other. Cyn , the blonde next to me, came up to NH to see me about 3 yrs ago now i think. Suzie, the one from Australia had been here a couple of yrs ago for a couple of weeks. This was her 2nd time back to see me. And her and Nihcolas met for the first time and the 3 of us took a road trip and stopped in Ohio and met Cyn and her her new husband. She was the one that got the ball rolling between Nicholas and I. And had always been there for me through the yr he and I were apart. She gave it to him bad when she met him. Telling him how she listend to me abotu him coming up to see me and then lettign me down again and again. She was not impressed with him but so happy that we were now together. We got to her plase about 3:30 in the morning , she was waiting up for us and when her husband got up at 7 for work we were all still up. We had a blast I miss her so much. She is the best firend above all the others. I love all my friends dearly but she tops them in a way no one could understand. The reasons I love my freinds are all differnt in each one of them but in cyn che has every one of my friends in her. OK I am realy ramblign and takign over this thread. SOrry. You got me going Becky lol.
